Because he's better than Ryan Anderson?

    Vet mins.

Wasn't Zbo going to take one for the Warriors? We are in that market of ring chasing vets.

"Super teams" have won five of the last six championships (excluding the Spurs). The Warriors have changed the calculus for building a winner and what you take "any day" won't win anything barring injury.

You're forgetting how many vets would love to join the team then, it would be pretty easy to assemble a decent supporting cast.

These teams better let us do this so we can beat the Durant out of of Golden State.

We are doing the league a favor.

I don't know why anyone does. Most overrated superstar player of this generation.

    Morey > Ainge.
Ainge is still waiting and hoarding while Morey is out there doing work.

Truly a stark contrast of the same asset-collecting cloth. One goes overboard and the other barely moves. One is heartbreaking, the other is frustrating. Glad we have the springy one.

I hear you but dude, Lakers can trump any offer we make without hesitation. Randle alone would probably be better than what we got left.

Melo and MDA didn't work out the first time, Morey better not force MDA to get along with that loser.

His point seems to be that if the Lakers wanted to trade away Randle to get PG, they would've done it already.

That's true but knowing they have a great young core, why would they lose some of that to trade for a guy who is a year away from coming to you anyway? I guess the only way you do it is if LA thinks the threat of George ending up getting traded to a better situation is stronger...but I don't know. Boston isn't appearing to make a move and even if they had him, they still might not beat the Cavs. Realistically George to Houston or Cleveland are the only shots he has at getting a ring...which would be the only thing keeping him out of LA in my eyes - Ring or LA has to be his mantra.

I have no idea how the Rockets could get Paul George with minimal trade assets but I've learned not to doubt Daryl Morey.

More importantly if the Pacers wanted Randle they would have done it already.

One can't help but to see that Pritchard is putting a high ransom for George when LA calls out of spite because of how George is openly wanting to go there and "gut punching" the Pacer organization.

I firmly believe either George goes to Boston or Houston.

I'm not keen on him either, but I guess that if his price isn't too high, the Rockets won't need him to be a superstar - just a stretch 4 who can make shots more often than Ryan Anderson.

It's hard to see the Houston offer at this point though.

    2020 first round pick
    Eric Gordon
    Clip Capela?

Having the full MLE does make it easier to move Capela I suppose if you are confident you can sign another Nene type guy to put in the middle with Nene.

Another option is we keep Gordon and send Ryan to the Kings for a second round pick, send that pick to the Pacers along with Capela, a 2020 first,...I guess? Lol it's hard to build a really good offer.
