You can lick a dick on a stick if you think I'm paying 10 bucks for a frozen pizza. I've tried it from Kroger, on sale, and it's alright but their price point sucks. This is my go-to:
It's $6.98 at the HEB. Even in Trump math that's not $10. https://www.heb.com/product-detail/screamin-sicilian-holy-pepperoni-pizza/1877330?_requestid=1454035
That's not bad. Everywhere I've ever seen it, including Walmart, it's always been 10. I'm glad to see they've come off that price. I still like that specific digiorno better, but the screamin Sicilian isn't bad. At the end of the day it's all frozen pizza. I would put the new tombstone roadhouse up there too. It's basically a tombstone with like tripple cheese and toppings for 2 dollars more.
I've been looking at that Screamin Sicilian for a while, it looks good, but its pretty high in calories I usually go with this:
I love the convenience of it but I think any of the shitty franchise pizza places are better than frozen, besides maybe Little Caesars. It depends on if you have a decent franchise by the house, they're sadly not all created equal. Just like any fast food place.
I don't know if it's just because of nostalgia -- I haven't eaten them in forever -- but those Red Baron Singles Deep Dish pizzas were pretty damn good as I recall (baked in the oven, not microwave).
They don't even use real cheese anymore, they use "imitation mozzarella". lol Still tastes pretty good though
My vote is for any Red Baron classic crust. They are the only ones I can get to turn out properly. With the center done, and cheese not burned.
At Papa Murphy's you can get this big ass $7 pizza raw that you take home and bake. It's good. Not sure if that was a promo or if that's the normal price but for $7 it's good.
Yeah, Papa Murphys is the answer to any bake your own pizzas. They throw those deals out all the time.
