Agreed ^^ and if sitting there @ the show watching his (I guess still friend) Russell win MVP and that doesnt make him EVEN MORE fired up... he doesn't deserve it!! He had a GREAT , GRRRRREAT year... but you can always improve. Hopefully this lit "another" fire
You've probably never slept with a Kardashian either. James Harden lives life like he's in a P Diddy video. I think he should have won, but I can't feel sorry for him.
Why should I feel sorry for a multi-millionaire who has everything and anything? And we know what Harden is going to do when the chips are down and everything is on the line.....go to a strip club the night before the big game and get wasted, so he will be sufficiently hung over to quit when the going gets tough. Sorry for him? I think not.
I don't feel sorry for him at all, Hakeem took years to win it..... Harden needs to focus on getting his weaknesses into strengths, not meaningless MVP awards. DD
He's making north of 40 mil a yr if I'm not mistaken (salary/endorsements) playing a freakin game (working a few times a week) and you feel SORRY for him?
When Harden is paired with the likes of Wade/Bosh or Irving/Love, he will win. Until then, people need to STFU and stop pretending any of those guys have won jack **** without some serious firepower behind them.
Funny how Bev gets hustle and all defense, EG with 6th man, DAntoni w COTY but none of it would have been remotely possoble without Harden. Although his colleagues recognize him with the players' MVP and unanimous first team so I guess that is consolation. Also the huge contract and re-re extensions and Troli, Addidas don't hurt either. He be aight.
Honestly, the only thing I feel sorry for is Houston. Now he's going to want to win it again and his sole focus is on that MVP again. If he had won, he would have moved on to winning a championship.
People give way too much importance to this award. Did Harden deserve it? sure. Did Westbrick deserve it? yes. It was a tough call they both had a great year, RW won it, so be it. This might actually be good for us. Aren't a lot of you complaining about Harden's character? well, maybe its better he lost so he comes back with a vengeance next season, especially if he truly feels robbed of the award, if he has any spine he should be back next season ready prove he is the true MVP. But really who cares...
