Butler is getting further n further away from Tomball, Tx. I think Celtics get him before draft night.
Why would anyone in the league help the Cavs to acquire Butler? Nobody wants J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert or Channing Frye anyway.
Rofl Cavs... So, Hayward to Boston, Butler to Minnesota and George to Houston, who says no? Spoiler The Cavs...lul[/SPOILER
Cavs are a in a pickle & short on assets. GM ain't signed LeBron ain't signed long term (amid rumors he could leave again) You aren't trading Kyrie No one wants J.R. Smith & Iman Shumpert (or they aren't giving anything good in return) Channing Frye is on a reasonable deal but how much does he get you in return? They don't have any worthwhile picks (further out) So you have Kevin Love & Tristan Thompson(their only bigs). And Love is of no use to rebuilding teams.
Reading Stein tweets...is it possible that the Cavs offered Love for Butler but Chicago would prefer to get picks and rookie scale contracts? I mean, if they're trying to find a third teams with Shumpert, J.R and **** like that...
I'm sure Wade will start crying once he finds out he's on a rebuild mode team. Wade to Cavs after he's bought out.
I think he knows that already lol...he can opt out of his deal though, do we expect him to take the money or to sign for cheap with his brother?
The Cavs thinking Kevin love can net the trade assets they need to acquire Jimmy Butler is just delusional. they are desperate.
Come on man, nobody would take Love ahead of Butler today, like nobody would take LMA over Hayward or Griffin over George
Nope, just objectively looking at the impact each player can have in a vacuum. Neither have had success as top dogs. Love's impact offensively and on the boards can be greater than Butler's 2-way game, depending on the the situation. Both are great players, both need to be Sidekicks to contend.
