The TM meter is utter crap and generated by users. Regarding Verratti, there's been rumors today of Barca offering 100mil. But there'a also jus been news of his agent negotiating with AC Milan today. Edit: Both PSG GM and Verratti agent are in Milan today, so something has to be serious.
Today's players do listen to the manager though. This is just a bidding war nothing more. Milan is just a Euro League starter not CL participant. Barca yeah they can get almost anyone but if they focus on Coutinho and some others. Verratti's chances are good and I see it as a perfect fit. Alexis is just about winning a title and who pays the most. A Premier League title is more likely than CL for him if he joins City.
True, but weird to see both the PSG GM and Verratti's agent together in Milan today. This would mean advanced negotiations to me. Torino is close to Milan though, so it could also be possible that they're meeting Juve officials in Milan. Edit: Di Marzio saying these guys are not meeting a team in Milan and are discussing a move to Barca.
And those managers make Marco look like the only great Central defensive midfielder, he hasn't shown up enough on the highest European stages other than France 1 league. France 1 league is the fifth best league with an asterisk. I mean Kroos, Arturo, Xabi have experience but have been a lot better IMO. I am pretty sure he is not the only guy at that position who is valuable. Heck Paulinho right now is playing defensive enforcer and offensive goalgetter but hope he stays. CM is a position I think you have to go with a veteran and not a 24 year old no matter how much he costs. Except he is Hakeem or Duncan on Defense. Dybala disappearing in the Finals has proven youngsters who have not been entirely ready. And Offense is the place I would put one young guy there. 60-70 would be ok if you want to overpay for his services but 100 Barca millions that they have or not have - Crazy talk.
True, but there are few good 6s available. Btw, the Tolisso deal to Bayern is getting close to the finish line, according to several outlets. Talks about a 35mil+15mil boni deal. Not sure about the Bayern insider I was mentioning with Sanchez&James (he's only been breaking one thing), but the Lyon insider on Transfermarkt is definitely legit and has been breaking Lyon inside information for years. He says the player and both clubs have agreed, currently only negotiating the fixed sum + boni amount.
That is what I am talking about. Verratti is a good young player but he has increased his value because PSG is all over the news. Better find the real gems and not overpay that much. I would not give up on Renato Sanches yet, just do the old lend him to another ballclub.
True, and this has always been the Bayern way. Saw it with Ribery, Robben, Martinez, Thiago, Boateng etc, we buy these guys before their breakout and never overpay for hyped players. Too bad we missed out on Griezmann, Jesus, Pjanic etc (who all were on our radar), so let's hope guys like Tolisso rise to the next level for us. Much rather see us making level-headed, financial-secure deals instead of copying Barca/Real and having 500+mil liabilities.
Anyone watching France-England? Sick game this far, Pogba orchestrating like a boss and England with a nice goal.
Like in Verratti's case or Dimitri Payet's case players want out whenever they do not have the desire to play for the team any longer. That sucks. Douglas was just too vocal about it. He stayed long enough with Shaktar Donezk in Ukraine where living standard aint high and there was a mini war going on.
Sad thing is that clown got a ton of playing time and Ribery/Robben will retire soon, don't know why the hell he even joined if he didn't want to wait a bit. This guy is all about money and fame, doesn't give a F about the sport.
Haha Both D Costas have become head cases. Douglas and Diego. Do not retire, the MLS and China await Ro - Ri. Robben is still a king in the KVB national team.
Think both stated they'd like to retire at Bayern and possibly work as youth coaches or something similar.
