Already thinking about next year, who shall we replace Beltran with? Aoki? Kyle Tucker may be ready next year to take one of those spots(Promoted to AA ball today). I like having some veteran leadership in that lineup though.
I'd pencil Fisher into one spot at the minimum. If he's not traded then he's next years LFer unless Jake just goes beast mode. With how deep the upper farm system is, I see Tucker getting a full seasons worth at AA unless he goes full Altuve. I don't expect him until after next year's super 2 deadline at earliest.
I forgot about Fisher to be honest. I should prob track the minor league thread more. It was a lot easier in the years prior when I spent more time in there then I did on Astro threads.
I would be surprised with Tucker and Fisher are both still in the organization next year. I suspect the Astros replace Beltran with another similar player on a short term deal. Tucker is interesting, if he plays well, I can't see him getting a full year at AA.
