Also, the one time NATO was invoked in terms of "an attack on a NATO member is an attack on all NATO members" was the US asking for help to sacrifice other countries service-members in pursuit of a pointless game of "wack-a-mole" and the NATO countries responded and honored their agreement resulting in many NATO members deaths over a worthless war that we started.
