It's pointless to argue. The Pro Hardens needed something. First of all. Harden and Lebron comparisons are seriously misguided in any form. Second, 1 game in an ECF series that is clearly already finished, versus the most pivotal game in a series, no comparison.
The difference here aside from LeBron having reached 7 Finals and won 3 rings is that he no showed in a game when his team had a commanding 2-0 lead. Harden tanked an OT period in a pivotal Game 5 and then no showed in an elimination game at home when the opposing team's 2 best players were out due to injury. I'm not defending LeBron's sorry ass performance last night, but there's no comparison to what Harden did. Harden just flat out quit on his team when the entire season was on the line.
and Lebron had 3 points...he had 0 in the 4th for the 2nd time in his career nobody will be blaming freaking Kevin Love, JR, and Korver...the supporting cast provided enough help Lebron will get all the heat, and deservedly so...end of story
I guess these are the only times Harden will be compared to Lebron. Sad-face. The difference between Lebron and Harden is akin to the difference between Harden and say Lou Williams. Which is enormous. Lou may have some amazing games... it doesn't make him great.
Lebron clearly had a bad game and is at fault. He shouldn't be protected from criticism. This game is on him. This thread though.... lol. Basically every time guy underperforms in the playoffs we now have a "did he pull a Harden" thread... which tells you all you need to know.

It was a regular season game so it's not the same as Harden. We should compare playoff perfomances with playoff perfomances not some meaningless games. Wait for the playoffs to start vs GSW.
Yeah, but look at what Morey has tried to do for Harden....They had Dwight Howard (didn't work out) , acquired Ty Lawson (didn't work out) now....They have Lou Williams (pretty good scorer), Eric Gordon (the man is a beast), and Ryno (weak link in recent acquisitions), and Nene (oldie but consistent). What more does Harden need?

I freely admit I am too emotionally invested in my sports TEAMS. Rox and Titans (former Oliers) - go team! ...and screw any individual player that thinks he's bigger than the TEAM.
How can this be compared to Harden? It wasn't an elimination game he just had an off game unlike Harden who just seemed completely disinterested in playing

Except Lebron wasn't a multi-time playoff champ until 9 years into his career and by the way that was AFTER joining another team with 2 All Stars, a bunch of ring chasing vets, AND a weak conference. Lebron in fact had quite a few terrible playoff performances BEFORE he was a multi-time champion - go back and watch his last game in his first stint in Cleveland. I don't think Harden is/will every be on Lebron's level because frankly Lebron is the Greatest of All Time but don't act like Harden isn't good because he isn't the greatest player of all time(who happened to have similar failures earlier in his career).
