I've said this before but I really hope they move a couple veterans to better suit their skills and the team. 1- Kareem to SS 2- Cushing back to OLB We've all seen for years that KJ gets beat deep but is a sure tackler when the play is front of him. With Joseph still on the team, pave stronger the way for Johnson to start. We've also seen that Cushing is still a madman, just a much slower madman. On the strong side, he can be a madman who only covers half the field instead of both sidelines or guarding the middle on pass routes. If this isn't exactly what Cunningham is here for...maybe I just don't know what they're trying to do anymore. .....................Watt.........NT............Clowney...................... .......Cushing.....Cunningham..McKinney.....Mercilus....... .......Johnson.....Jackson..........Hal.............Joseph........... NT to be determined I guess. Reader came in strong and VW apparently isn't as sure about retirement as he was at the end of the season. Either way, that position is set. The revelation of Clowney at DE continues and we have hopefully made our last attempt to convert a tall DE outside. McKinney continues to captain the ship, he was last year already. Hal at FS, maybe some of the youth takes him over but doubtful. I think this base defense is the best eleven we have, in the best positions for their skills to be successful.
He got a 20, which is lower than you want, but not completely tragic like Vince Young. Basically it just suggests that he's not very smart so it's no surprise if that ends up being the case.
