what! they went 9-22? i had never seen fultz's face before this draft lottery show, but they showed he put up like 23/6/6, which is pretty incredible in college. and they went 9-22?!
It ain't pretty. THIRTEEN straight losses to finish the year! It's one thing to barely miss the tourney like Ben Simmons and LSU, but 9-22 is an abomination and should be a dark stain on this guy's resume. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/team/schedule/_/id/264
How did OKC benefit from the Harden trade? It pretty much nuked their team and future by trading a superstar. This Boston pick is still just that. A pick.
Billy King & Bobby Marks wrecked the Nets and should never hold a NBA position again. http://www.netsdaily.com/2016/1/10/...ing-the-moves-that-crippled-the-brooklyn-nets They got another pick coming in 2018! Boston: Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Keith Bogan, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph, 2014 1st(James Young), 2016 1st(Jaylen Brown), 2017 1st(#1 overall) & 2018 1st Brooklyn: Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry & D.J. White
Philly would benefit most from Lonzo. If the Lakers take Josh Jackson, Lonzo would set up all of those Sixers youngsters really well. Lonzo's unselfishness is exactly what the Sixers need to bring it all together.
okc was no scrub team after that trade. they still got a good player and still were contenders for the next couple of years with top finishes in the league. injuries to kd and wb in different seasons were just bad luck for them. to act like they fell off just bc they lost harden is false. people just love to disregard all that just bc harden turned out to be a pretty good player. that is not comparable to what brooklyn did for boston.
Also it gave them the opportunity to draft and then sign to a $100 million contract Steven Adams. Mind you they were only like $7 million apart with Harden on like something in the $60-$70 million range overall. Lol.
Anytime a prospect is compared to a top 3 player in the game like james harden, you seen as a cant miss prospect. Same thing happened with ben simmons last year. Remmeber these kids are forced to go to college, most dont care about wins and losses in college, especially if they have garbage teammates around them
1. Celtics - Fultz 2. Lakers - Ball 3. Sixers - Fox 4. Suns - ackson 5. Kings - Tatum 6. Magic - Monk 7. Wolves - Isaac 8. Knicks - Smith 9. Mavs - Ntilikina 10. Kings - Diallo
I don't think he's a point guard, certainly not on Ball's level skill wise or on intangibles like leadership.
i don't think lonzo is on another level skill wise if you're comparing him with simmons. both are still questions marks. i just remember philly letting simmons handle the ball and be a primary playmaker while he was playing before he got hurt. but i guess well see
Lottery is rigged! Lakers keep their pick and draft 2nd 3 straight years. Boston gets #1 pick Just like in the 1980's NBA game I played, Celtic Versus Lakers for the Hipster generation is starting
yea, how do you go 9-22 with the #1 pick overall. Kind of like Ben Simmons, put up great #, but teams suck Meanwhile in Kentucky, everyone's # sucks and the team goes to the Final 4 everyone, but they can play in the NBA
Lonzo is a Lakers , unless Boston takes him. Going to be interesting with what they do with Isaih Thomas since they are going to pick a PG with #1 pick
It's hilarious. I think it was only a $4 million difference. I think they offered $56 millions and Harden wanted $60 millions. THen they gave all that movie to Enes Kanter. And then they compound it by giving it to Adams and Victor O. and now they are #2 in payroll or some crap and can't sign any Free Agent. So that team is struck on 45 to 50 wins at best
