This past Wednesday I saw 38 Special at the HoB. It got me to thinking how many times I have seen them. They have quietly become the rock band I have seen in concert the most times with 5. As far as individual singers its easily Johnny Lee if you count places like Mo's in Katy and Harry's in College Station.

    Johnny Lee - 10+
    38 Special - 5
    Steve Wariner - 5
    George Strait - 4
    Sammy Hagar - 4 (3 Sammy, 1 Van Hagar)
    Garth Brooks - 4
    Def Leppard - 4
    Hank Jr - 4

I realized recently that I had seen Death Cab for Cutie/Postal Service/Ben Gibbard at least 10 times in the past 10 years. The next closest band I've seen that much is probably Future Islands and also Sun Kil Moon/Mark Kozelek who I've seen about 6 times each. When I was here in Texas, I saw Voxtrot maybe 7 times in a 3 year time period as well. I've seen iterations of Wolf Parade and their individual acts a bunch of times as well. Hoping to catch them on their new tour if they have one.

I only listed bands I've seen more than 6 times.
    Pixies/Frank Black/& the catholics etc
    Willie Nelson
    Rush 10+
    Yes 8+
    Primus 10+
    Triumph
    GWAR
    Ministry
    Front 242
    Merle Haggard

I've always gone to a ton of concerts. I've seen hundreds of bands with my 2 of my best friends.

On a related note I'm flying out to Denver tomorrow to see The Lennon Claypool Delirium and Primus at Red Rocks. Red Rocks has been on my bucklist of venues so I'm super excited.
