Yeah, he's still a great player. He is prone to having these inexplicable meltdowns tho. I will only judge him on his postseason performances from now on. I no longer care about what he does in the regular season.
How many choke jobs in the playoffs is it gonna take for us to admit that Harden's inconsistency is a huge issue and liability to the team?
I HAVE BEEN A HARDEN SUPPORTER THROUGH THICK AND THIN SINCE HE ARRIVED IN HOUSTON. STUCK UP FOR HIM NO MATTER WHAT!!! BUT RIGHT NOW...F*CK YOU JAME HAREN! YOU ARE A PLAYOFF CHOCKER, BUT WORSE, A F*CKING QUITTER! I CAN'T RESPECT AND SUPPORT THAT SHET! WIN A CHIP OR GET THE F*CK OUT OF HOUSTON WITH YOUR NONCHALENT HALF CARING ASS OUT AT STRIP CLUBS WHILE FANS ROUTE FOR YOUR SUCCESS!!
LMAO at the knee jerk reactions here. The players on the list who have had more success than harden have HOF coaches and play with current/former all stars. The ones who have done worse Westbrook/Davis/Giannis don't. Basketball is still a team game.
We all agree that it is. I just think that we need to keep giving him a chance. Dude is runner up mvp twice in 3 years and 1st team all nba 3 times in 4 years. He is 27 and has more time. Its better to pursue a 2nd star then to quit on harden and tank
Clutchfans is going to be an absolute nightmare over the next couple days/weeks, so I'm probably just gonna lay low and say this... I'll ride with Harden any day and I'm happy he's here and not somewhere else. And now...I'll let you all continue with your obliterating of him after his historic season. Carry on.
No, he is showing how even a player of historical greatness could not single-handedly carry the team to championships.
You are going to be less consistent when you have a system in which you have to carry the offense at all times on the floor. He isn't just going to be historically good defenses every single game. That would be ****ing nuts.
it's not about help. it's about harden playing extremely poor in the playoffs. jordan didn't play extremely poor in the playoffs before he won a ship. if harden played amazing and his team failed him the conversation would be completely different.
Another incredibly vanilla take. No **** he's one of the top players. It's also clear he is not on the same level with the true elites in this league. He will win nothing.
it's not even about championships. he can't beat a team without thier starting point guard and best player AT HOME. he wasn't playing some all time great team littered with superstars.
