I love that the show is just so random, and yet you know everything is in it's place for some reason. When that song came on, I said, "Huh, this sounds really familiar." It took a few lines of the lyrics, and the wife says, "That show with Balky." Then I chimed in with, "Perfect Strangers?" Sure nuff...she was right.
Preview for next week looks like it should be a really interesting one as well. First few episodes have been really strong......
So good!!! I mean what those children went through, and the guilt that the lady went through finding out 2 years later.
Good old "Wes" from Urban Cowboy. I loved that last episode. I was just captivated by him the whole time. He's a great actor imo.
Recap I read of the episode also pointed out that there were a decent amount of allusions to the Bible story of Abraham......
The last show took an unfortunate turn for me. When they had kevin seeing something he didn't making it out to him just being crazy. I hope they don't turn the whole thing into this was all in his imagination and none of it is real.
Yeah I don't think that's the case but that's just me. I think they explained it in the episode with Laurie saying he was having a psychotic break. I don't think they ever made Kevin out to be totally sane, he's always been an unreliable POV. That last scene between him and Nora was pretty brutal......
I'm still going to watch and am hopeful that they will have a decent ending. The show has been great so i'm not going to try and hold it against them, but Laurie doesn't believe he was seeing Patty and this just added to the myth. Her scam bothers as much as her relationship with John.
Although being crazy can explain a lot of stuff, it doesn't cover all. I mean John shot him, and he's alive. John's son found him crawling out of the ground after burying him right?
The guy that set himself on fire on the previous episode had said no and Nora said yes, it looks like both failed.....
