Garbage minutes don't count. In that case. Bobby Brown is Kobe.

in 1995 our south american power forward went down with injury and a stocky 6'5" guard was inserted into a hyper-smallball starting lineup that couldn't nobody stop. i'm just sayin

Lets let Codman have a chance to talk with Ne and get his mindset. Ne is 34 years old. Very possible he calls it a career with this. He was having fun and he became a beast in the playoffs. Cod said we would love him come playoff time and he was right. Hopefully Ne is still hungry and that coupled with his happiness with the org will lead him to try one more year. We need another big though. Capella and other legit big and Ne would really help us next season.

Rockets should offer him a 1 year / 8 mill contract. He deserves one more season and good pay.

What's wrong with his take? Nanu is a solid rebounder and a tough finisher at the rim, there is no reason he shouldn't see 12-15 in game 5. Don't forget it was a similar situation in which Clint was forced to play big minutes in the playoffs as a rook and he held his own, Nanu is bigger, stronger and tougher than Clint was as a rook, I have confidence in him

All the spurs fans are scared that dantoni will start playing anderson at the 5. They think the nene injury just ended the series for them because now Anderson has to play center and they think there is no answer for that lol

To Nene.. We will miss your leadership & performance. Take care of your injury & please know we luv you. We could still use your wisdom & support this year if it doesn't interfere with your recovery. Stay strong Brother, we will pray for you. Go RedNation.

To ClutchFans.. A moment of silence for a fallen Hero.

    Joking, right?

If not, should we also throw in our other completely untested rookies, too?

It sucks that his steal/dunk was very costly.

look, i'm not suggesting we give him 30 minutes. not even 20 min.

but if capela gets in foul trouble, anderson at the 5 won't cut it for more than 10mpg a game (especially if we don't hit shots)

Houston can still beat San Antonio, and I loved D'Antoni's strategy of playing more small ball with Ryno at the 5 and Ariza at the 4. Defensively, they struggled a bit, particularly on the glass, but Aldridge and Gasol had no clue how to defend those guys on the perimeter, and Houston ran away with the game in the third quarter with that lineup.

That being said, regardless of what happens in this series, I think Houston has very little chance against Golden State. But they didn't have much of a chance with Nene still on the floor. Hopefully he comes back next season. He was easily Houston's most consistent two-way big man, and he really stepped up in some big games this year.

Onuaku is not going to play. I would be absolutely shocked if they threw him into the fire in the Western Conference semis after barely playing at all this year as a rookie. Harrell on the other hand will probably have to see some time, they're just too thin up front now without him getting a few minutes. This is a pretty crushing development, I guess it was too much to expect for Nene, Anderson, and Gordon to all make it through the season relatively unscathed.

Rockets are destined to never have a healthy postseason run in the Harden era

I am so sad for Nene. He was great.
