I've been calling him this since his rookie season. I'm tired of Rockets fans feeling like they have to respect this flopper and not embrace the best nickname in the world for him. He is now a playoff opponent, finally. His name is pronounced Gi Nobody Who's with me!!!! Ginobody. You can even chant it in the NY fan cadence,,,like they use for O-ver-ra-ted Gi-No Bo-Dy This needs to be a twitter Hashtag oh, and it's Tony Pecker, too.
Will never forgive ginobili for that bogus wanna be charge foul at halfcourt for a halftime heave shot. Thats not basketball. Thats just bs. Aaron brooks severely sprained his ankle
Real talk. Every time I see his dumb face, I replay that moment in my head. AB was a lot of fun to watch during the '09-'10 season, when he won MIP. To be fair though, Lowry emerged after Brooks got injured. Plus we got Goran Dragic AND a first for Brooks, which seems completely absurd in retrospect. If not for that punk move by Manure, who knows if we'd have ended up with Jimmy Harden?

Everything else is up for discussion. As the clock ticked down, James Harden rose for one final try, one last chance and was met by a memory with a spreading bald spot that blocked his shot. “It was a risky play,” said Manu Ginobili. Just like his entire career. Full of floor burns and bruises and nights when he treated his own body with callous disregard just to make something happen. This was not a soon-to-be 40 year old playing out the string, but a maestro showing the kids how to keep pulling all the strings. Slashing across the lane for one of his vintage drives where he comes out on the other side of the basket and kisses the ball off the glass. Pulling up fearlessly out front and banging home a 3-pointer as if he didn’t have a care in the world. Even roaring down the court late in the second quarter, finding another gear, and then rising up as a lefty to flush a right-handed, wrong-footed dunk. “I just had to shake his hand, because I’ve never done that,” said teammate Jonathon Simmons. more at the link
He made a good play. No need to be a p***y and start name calling. Its too late for that ..the last beef we had with SA was in 95 and olajuwon took care of that. To a man that was a clean block. This game could have gone either way. Fair to say simce it was an overtime game. This was a 50-50 game that rockets came out on the bad side of Couple of things - Need to win two games. That is doable. Leonard out too? Even if hr comes back he wont be 100% So their lineup is ginobili, aldrige( who has been a no show) and bench? If we cant beat that team then we dont deserve to move on. Give some credit is was a close game ginobili made a good play. Now gotta win 2.
