Roberson's confidence has to be shot. He has to regress to the mean on his 3 point shooting eventually. And the hack a Roberson will be an option if the game is close late in the game.

Anderson should get a few minutes as possible if he isn't hitting his shots early. He's had enough open looks to redeem himself and he keeps blowing it. He also provides no defense. I wish we had Dekker so we could at least play someone tall and athletic at the 4.

I think defense and rebounding is key. We also need to move the ball, and knock down our shots. If they are not falling, don't panic, keep attacking the basket, and get to the FT line.

    Game day baby

Not going to the game because tix for me and my lady are $600, plus I don't like to be drunk in public so I'm gonna get ****ed up at home and I can't have sex at halftime at the arena. If anyone is going to the game and gets one of these clean ass shirts, I'll buy it for $20

Harden's Rockets have been pretty good in closeout games IIRC.

Winning game 5 is so important for us in a number of levels other than the obvious one:

    - it allows proper rest for older players like Nene and Ariza.
    - video and practice of things that worked and more importantly on areas that need improvement.
    - I think we miss Dekker with his length and hustle. He is not a consistent 3 point shooter but the man is all over the court. Dek is really missed against an athletic team like the Thunder.
    - additional time allows for possible expansion of the bench. Harrell is an energy booster that could certainly play some minutes.
    - finally, coaches prep for the next series.

I was sitting around thinking to myself "for all the hype going into this series about the forthcoming offensive explosion, the offenses have really been pretty bad." To see if my eye test was crazy, I pulled up the B-R stats page for each team in the playoffs and did a little quick calculating on how their players have compared to the league average points per possession (which is usually about 1.08).

Fun fact 1: Not a single starter on either team is scoring at a league average rate.
Fun fact 2: Only four players in the series are (Nene, Lou, McDermott, Grant), out of the 17 rotation guys plus 7 garbage time guys!
Fun fact 3: Three Thunder starters are between average and 76ers level bad (1.03PPP) - none of them is Westbrook who is way below 76ers level. (It's Adams, Gibson, and Roberson.)
Fun fact 4: Zero Rockets starters are scoring better than 76ers level bad, with the possible exception of Harden who I calculated to be at 0.99 PPP without taking his and-ones and 3-shot fouls out of his possession count.
Fun fact 5: Pat has been the only rotation player with a lower PPP than Westbrook (again, ignoring and-1s). Mutually assured destruction?

So this POS ******* who QUIT on the Rockets is now supposed to be a "fan"? All he'll do is jinx the team. Glad I won't be there because I'd have thrown the biggest rock I could find at his sorry ass. And I'll be sure to skip the opening of the game just so I won't see anything of that b*stard.
