Lmfaooooo. I've been saying this since the mid way point in the season. One trick pony with a very toxic contract going forward. (Anderson) I've been saying the same thing about Capella as well. Sorry. And will be the main reason we get bounced in the playoffs. These two don't have spot on this team. Not good fits.... sometimers.
Putting him on the bench would've at least hidden how atrocious he's become. Not sure any team will come up with a meaningful offer now.
I guess we'll eventually see...on the other hand, IF we win this series, i think Ryan should do better against the Spurs or the Grizzlies, might be wrong but i think he's maybe suffering a bit OKC physicality, which is honestly huge, that's basically why they beat the Spurs and almost beat the Warriors last season...aside for having Durant, they're really strong, explosive, long, and we're the opposite as a team, Ryan particularly.
Before anyone attempts to complement Anderson in any way, you must first say he gets paid 18 million a year, and then sell your argument
I think Anderson has been better than Capela on defense. I've been sticking up for Anderson a lot, but I think he needs to be taken out of the starting lineup for this series.
Like I've said 6th man at best. Ideal bench player. Doesnt have the mental fortitude or skills to be a starter.
He just needs to shoot more shots in game time. Only way for a shooter to get out of a slump is to shoot himself out of it. That's the simple nature of shooters.
Anderson is a spacer as in he is in space. Cant be found for the series. I get Juwan Howard flashbacks when I see Ryan Anderson. The spacer who cant rebound or defend, and bricks his shots when they matter. Soft players get you killed in the playoffs.
Taj Gibson is doing a really good job of showing on the screen and then recovering to Ryno really quickly. That said, Harden has gotten Ryno a LOT of open looks off that play and Ryan hasn't taken advantage. It's killing the starting line up's offense because OKC isn't respecting Ryan's shot.
40% 3pt shooter this season, 38% CAREER. Also, traditionally much better during the postseason than he has been this year. What you are missing is MATH, specifically STATISTICS. He's not doing good right now, but just as he will have games shooting at 10%, he will have games where he shoots 70%. What if one of those games comes in the WCF against say, GSW?
We might be better off these specific 3 games, but we would be a lot WORSE off over the season and IMO the rest of the playoffs. Adams is a lot more grounded than Capela and Harden NEED'S Anderson for spacing.
Eh, it still applies. If he haves one of those games at any time against any team, chances are, we win.
Adams is more athletic than Capela dude.. Capela always goes for layups.. Adams is like poor mans prime bogut
Thinking up ways to get this toxic contracts off our books... having a hard time... hopefully him and Capella packaged for a big piece going out.... let me dream.
adams averaging 6 ppg and 5 rpg this series talent being wasted next to westbrook i would trade capela for adams right now
