Perfect day for baseball. Roof is going to be open (as it almost always should be till late May/early June). Looking forward to getting there early and checking out all the new parts of the ballpark.

Go 'stros, this line up is going to be fun to watch. I haven't been this excited since 2003. Biggio, Bagwell, Berkman, Kent, Hidalgo, & Ensberg all were putting wood on the ball. Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Springer, Beltran all rake. The rest of the group are really solid much better hitters than Adam and Brad were in 2003. Plus I really think some of the minor league guys are going to have a say this year. Pitching looks good for the most part. Time to bust the M's!
Just keep in mind that it is a long season. They will lose at least 54 games. Hinch will make questionable decisions. Altuve will be thrown out on the bases. Gattis will take a fast ball down the middle for strike 3. Giles will blow a save or two. Reddick will make a critical out against a left handed pitcher. Dan Straily will not be joining the rotation. Sipp will suck. Tyler White will not be the AL player of the week this week.
For sure, agreed. We stumbled out of the gate bad last year. Maybe I am getting too greedy with a 3-1 start, but I think it's reasonable. Hell, looking at the matchups, I like our chances for a sweep, but as the M's are going to be a tough division foe, I settled for 3-1, haha!
Damn, I'm excited. Wish I was able to snag tickets to the game. Oh well, there'll be plenty of games to make up for it. Pumped for Baseball being back!
