Meh, not much diversity in "role playing" in Dark Souls, imo. Love the combat and design, but I really do enjoy something with more of a narrative.
Loved every Mass Effect. Loved Witcher 3. Loved Skyrim. Barely could play 5 min of Inquisition each time i tried playing. Hated it. Hate every Fallout. Never played Dark Souls. Worth a try? Anything else I have to play? I'm not big on the rpg genre, but if its action rpg(i guess that's what the genre is called?), then I can give it a shot. Recommendations?
I'm really enjoying the game. The face animations are pretty laughable sometimes but the overall atmosphere is great and I really like the squad interactions. The combat is pretty dang good too.
The combat is dumb. You cant command your teammates to do anythinng. So no combos work smh. The cover system is not very good. I do like the added jetpack but thats about it.
Just subscribed to Origin Access and am downloading Inquisition atm, didn't realize you could play such great games (also Battlefront etc) for only 25€/year.
That's awesome man. Let me know what you think. Maybe it's not everyone's cup of tea but hopefully you'll enjoy it. Especially for that sweet deal.
Have only played one hour so far, as I was busy these last few days. I spent two hours creating a character though, only for her to end up looking like crap in-game. Hate the male voice acting, so female is unfortunately the only way to go for me. Think I'll have to download some mods to make the characters look better, don't want to play with an ugly hero.
What gets me is all the complaining about the facial animations when most people skip through them or read the text. But all the people out their b****ing at the Devs are morons - this would not be a dev decision, this would be a management decision not to spend the money on the facial animations - as in their analysis spending X amount would not generate that much more in sales. So blaming devs is idiotic....they have to do what the publishers allow the funding for... DD
So Devs never underperform in an area when they have the funding? I find that unlikely. NBA Live being my number one example.
I remember one year during Clutchfans, when everyone here knew what that guy did for the city of Houston
Chose Male Ryder. Animations are meh. Gameplay is amazing. You can use APEX app when at work to use your strike teams for in game rewards. Combat has been great ... though i feel overpowered at times. Amazed by "who" you can sex talk in the game. Trying to get all the ladies but Gil wants to play strip poker. Keeping options open. Dont worry about r&d early on ... the gear you craft becomes obsolete rather quickly.
First Mass Effect game I play I am enjoying the game thus far, i've logged 2 hours or so. The facial animations and characters are meh but i find the rest enjoyable.
haven't played it but i saw shitty reviews so it's not a 60 dollar buy to me. the first mass effect was one of my favorite games of all time tho. mass effect 2 was awesome and 3 was lame. i'm not feeling bioware lately. I didn't like inquisition either
Inquisition took a while to get going, but it really picks up later on. Still, I can understand the sentiment. Some of these games are getting so massive that they are inflating the playtime at the cost of charm and detail. I think Skyrim, Witcher 3, ME and Inquisition are all guilty of this in one form or another, and they are all awesome games. I am still waiting for the huge RPG that has the level of detail that something like Morrowind had, or going back even further, Gothic 2.
