    Awesome history

I doubt SIXTY has happened more than 40x besides Wilt... and by <15 players.

FORTY would be once every year and a half. Sounds about right.

    Researched now...

    78 Wilt
    73 Wilt
    73 Wilt
    72 Wilt
    71 Baylor
    70 Wilt

    http://www.landofbasketball.com/records/60_or_more_points.htm

Unless I miscounted, 21 players finished in the 60's. Six reached exactly 60 for their career high.

At age 20, Booker must be the youngest player to ever score 70 pts. Wilt was a 23 yr old rookie.

If he listened to Morey and shot 3s intead of 2s, he would have broken Wilt's record.

Can't believe Westbrook isn't on that list! He takes 40 shots!

Did Booker just win MIP with this game? Or still Giannis?

He is WAY BETTER than Klay. Klay has only one skill, shooting and nothing else

There are some notable performances on that list... I think Klay Thompson putting up 60 in 3 quarters is pretty silly. A few of those performances on that list were also in 3 quarters -- they sat out the 4th.

Honestly tho if you watch his hands, to me at least, he reminds me of a klay/curry hybrid.

He's not the pure catch and shoot 3 guy Klay is, but he's pretty good at it.

He's not the elite handles of curry, but he's decent and has similar looking dribble moves.

He can't drive like curry and pull up like curry can, but he does it in a similarly fashion.

He's not the defender Klay is but he's kinda OK.

He's not the pure shooter as they are, yet.

I like the kid and impressed by this output, even if it was stat padding.

And recall David Robinson did it in the last game of the year in order to move past Shaq for scoring title. It was planned the whole game by the Spurs.

Likewise, David Thompson did his 73pts to overtake George Gervin for scoring title, but only temporarily as Gervin put up 63 to regain it in his last game.

All three of those teams went in with the game plan to gift their players big scoring games on the last day to win the scoring title.

I wonder what his previous career high was?

Is this an anomaly or a sign of things to come for Booker?

Only 4 other Players have hit 70. You don't get 70 unless you're going to the Hall Of Fame like Brooker.

HE's 20 years old!!! Buddy Heid is 23 years old!!!

Check out those two other vids in my post on the first page. Dude has scored 27 and 29 points in single quarters back in January.

He's scored 39 three times and 38 once this year
    >30 ten times this year.
    >30 six times last year.
