    Any argument for LeBron is laughable.
    • "He has a career high in assists"...So does Harden, and Harden has more
    • "He's the number one seed!"...Rockets have more wins than the Cavs
    • "He's the best player!"...That's not how the award is voted on, LeBron would have like 8 straight MVPs if that's the case
    • "He had the best NBA Finals performance ever"...That's why he won Finals MVP, we are talking about the 2016-17 regular season
    LeBron has also "rested" for 5 games, has two all-stars in Irving and Love, and should have 50+ wins already, but they are underachieving.

    The leader in WS is tied with only Best Record as the main indicators of who is going to win MVP (65%), and Harden is dominant in that category. However, there is still concern over wether the Trippy-Dubby storyline is going to carry Russ to an MVP, as the last player to not win MVP while leading the NBA in winshares was... James Harden in 14-15.

    BTW, here is the list of players who led the NBA in WS who didn't win MVP since 2000. Try to think of wether the MVP in that year was more undeserving in the public's eyes.

    LeBron James (10-11) MVP: Derrick Rose
    Chris Paul (07-08) MVP: Kobe Bryant
    Dirk Nowitzki (05-06) MVP: Steve Nash

    BTW: the faux MVPs have made 2 finals, the Real MVPs have made 3.

    I don't know who the **** that dude is. I first saw him covering tennis and thought he was a former tennis player but I don't think he is. He's got a terrible voice for broadcasting and I have no idea why ESPN tries to fit him in to so many things.
