He was a very appealing player to me, hinderous to the game, always energetic, even helped us through the 22 win game streak. He also has my body structure, he was really actually about 6 foot 3, 265 pounds.
One of the greatest, most insignificant Rockets of all time. Loved him here, nothing but hard work, smart, crafty. Just great to have as a teammate, as an individual. Thank you Mr. Hayes. The chuckwagon. The one and only.
Haha... welcome to the board! One day perhaps you will figure out who that avatar is... Assuming you're not him (or another current user) with a new moniker.
The Modesto Mauler. I cracked up when I went to China and saw a chuck Hayes shoe. Chuck you owe the big man for that, and for making up for you being 6'6" by being 7'6".
Wow, I saw this thread and got worried about Chuck Hayes.... we just saw him a few weeks ago... I was more concerned that some one should feed Luther Head.
This thread hits close to home. I've been thinking all week about Chuck Hayes' hinderous approach to the game.
Anyone else tempted to start a thread titled "Thank you, Josh Smith" ... just cause you can't resist writing, "Especially the 83 game season."
It ain't the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. We luv ya Hustlin' Hayes
