[2016-2017] Jeremy Lin as a Brooklyn Net

Being a Lin fan is kind of laughable, but hey, who am I to judge? However, disparaging Patrick Beverley (the ******* heart and soul of the Rockets, and one of the BIGGEST reasons why our team is 46-21) in the name of Jeremy Lin is straight up idiotic.

 

I agree. Who is disparaging Beverley? Great role player...perfect fit to play alongside Harden.

If you are being genuine there is no way not to. You don't seem like a bad dude. You are just enamored with an an average basketball player to the point you make ridiculous assertions like he is better then Thomas. It's sad to read honestly. If you're trolling then that's a different story

 

Shooting, rebounding and defense. He's also a much better leader. He's a better player.

 

Harden actually wins games and makes a team superior. Lin does jack ****. Harden would have dragged that Nets team into the playoffs.

 

Also Harden is the focal point of the other team's defense.

Jeremy Lin was shooting 21%, yet a Lin fan would call it 'solid'

Biggie would think that was a horrible performance.

 

I have never wished Lin any ill, and I would be happy to see him playing well, but there is no comparison between James Harden and him. There is a genuine reason, why Harden is in the running for the regular season MVP. No one is discriminating against Jeremy Lin.

there are lin's fans, and there are Bev's fans... they're both good players, and it's debatable who's better, depending on what aspect of the game you're comparing.

 

Leading, shooting, rebounding, defense, taking care of the ball, fitting with contenders...

 

Ok, I'm fine with you feeling sorry for me. But I am not asking for pity. All I ever want is a reasonable conversation. Will be fun watching the Nets play the Celtics this week...

 

Shooting percentage is similar (Bev is .005% better 3pt% this season, Lin is .049% better overall FG% this season). Defense...I'll agree that Bev is a better 1:1 defender, but I am inclined to say Lin rotates better in a team D scheme. Rebounding...hard to say considering their roles, but ok, give the edge to Bev. Lin is a better passer/playmaker and offensive player overall. Leadership...so hard to say, because none of us know what goes on in the locker room and among the teammates. I'd say Bev is a better role player, but Lin is a better PG.
