Don't need to meet any different-skinned people. I'm not a racist or anything, just told the truth that I relate more to white players, which is completely natural, especially given where I grew up (no black people). I lived in Barcelona for quite a bit in the last few years, so I saw a bunch of black people, they don't bother me at all. But I didn't go out of my way to become friends with any of them just because their skin is different.
Yikes... Yes you do, more than anyone I currently know. If you would meet some of these people you would realize that you relate to them just as much as you relate to any other human being of any creed. You should force yourself to go meet different types of people, simply as a life experience If nothing else. Some of the "whitest" people I know are black, and vice versa. Hell, we can start you off with Shane Battier and work you up to Mad Max in no time.
I don't think that's true. And as I said I do relate to black people, just not as much as to whites. That's just a subconscious thing. Same reason why most (not all) people are more attracted to the people of their own race.
How would you know? You don't "know any black people". You are speaking from a position of self acclaimed ignorance. Ending this thread derailment here, and I couldn't disagree with you more in case you hadn't noticed.
Nobody had more drive than Larry Bird. Not Michael Jordan. Not Kobe. Not Alan Iverson. Nobody. All Hail The Hick From French Lick!
Jokic isn't white, he's Euro. (Ask CH for more info) Chandler Parsons is obviously the next Larry Bird. OP needs to pick another comparison.
Uhm Larry bird was 6'9 and Jokic is 6'11. They are both tall as heck. Larry bird would be a stretch 5 these days. Also I don't see alot of similarities to their game. Maybe Rik Smits?
Wow, weird necro bump. Some cringey comments in here (including my own if you don't read the sarcasm in it...) I don't think Jokic is much like Bird. If anything I would compare him to Arvydas Sabonis....
Nikol Jokic currently has the highest PER in NBA (&ABA) history https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/per_season.html
