Jeremy Lin thrived in it for about a month, those guys are thriving for it for much longer. Jeremy Lin apparently thrives at moving from Team to Team Golden State, New York, Houston, LA, Charlotte, Nets Hopefully Jeremy Lin can go to every team in the NBA so that LOFs lose track of all their passwords to all these team sites they truly don't care about.
"often injured"? Until this year, what other injuries has he had that has kept him out of games? And the fact that he's missed nearly 50 games this season is a pretty good indicator that he's had very little to do with the Nets struggling to get 20 wins. I'll admit that I don't watch the Celtics that much. With Lin in my local market, I gave up my NBA League Pass this year, so hard to get anything outside of the Nets and Knicks. And sure, Boston is doing well and Thomas is scoring a bunch and helping them win. Am basing much of my opinion on last season when Lin was certainly better than Thomas. How has Thomas' defense been this season?
It was not Jeremy's fault that D'antoni left the Knicks after only a month with Jeremy playing PG in his system. I don't go to other team sites. Just this one. It has the most interesting Jeremy Lin thread in the league.
I didn't see anywhere in there that said "Lin is better than everybody". It said "Lin should go to San Antonio and back up Tony Parker"
Because real team fans are more interesting than fans of only one player, especially if the player is not an elite player but the player's fans think he is
*chuckle* Isaiah Thomas - 2016 22.2 ppg, 6.2 assists, 3 rebs, 1.1 steals .428 FG%, .359 3ptFG%, .871 FT%, .488 eFG%, .562 TS% ORtg 113, DRtg 107 PER 21.5 Jeremy Lin - 2016 11.7 ppg, 3 assists, 2.7 rebs, .7 steals .412 FG%, .336 3ptFG%, .815 FT%, .464 eFG%, .534 TS% ORtg 102, DRtg 106 PER 13.8
lol @yoeddy The 'only' PGs to flourish under MDA. Then names 2 MVP candidates and a guy who got 14ppg under MDA. Why didn't you list fatty Felton? You know his stats under MDA far exceeded Lins right? Much like fatty Feltons career far exceeds Lins. Keep telling yourself he just needs the right system...
The people saying Lin was better than Thomas last year need to stop. That's just embarrassing. I will say though that Lin has been a solid player for the Nets this year when he has played.
Lin is not a dependable player, he's not a durable player. Lin was never better than Thomas. Thomas has MVP numbers, Lin has DNP numbers Isaiah Thomas, Boston Celtics (40-22) Season statistics: 29.4 points, 6.2 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 0.8 steals, 46.0% shooting The only reason Thomas is a target for the Lin Fans is that he mentioned that Lin gets lots of votes for the all star game, implying it's not because of basketball reasons This is true, however I do agree that he shouldn't have called out Lin, now he has the worst fan base in all professional sports, the LOF, as his enemy
Because Lin had a stretch of 10 games where he looked like a superstar, he's become a very polarizing player. Fans excessively overrate him, which then makes other people go the opposite direction and drag him down to the point where they're underrating him. In all honesty, Lin is an average player. He's not anywhere near being a star just as he's not anywhere near being a scrub.
LOL Crazy lunatic lin fans now comparing him to Thomas? First he was better then Harden now Thomas ? the stupidity of lin fans has no limits
