Hawks have 35 wins and are currently 5th in the east. Being competitive with them is a good sign even if, yes, wins/losses are the only thing that count towards your season record.
I'm sure the 20 win mark doesn't really matter to Lin or the team, but to get 9 more wins with 19 games remaining would be a confidence-builder to the team heading into the off-season. That's really all anyone who supports the Nets can really hope for right now.
Of the 2 former Rockets, Parson and Lin, it appears Lin has done better since they both left the team.
A very good article about the Brooklyn Nets. http://www.espn.com.au/nba/story/_/id/18848217/all-backfires-how-brooklyn-nets-rebuilding-nothing Has something for both Lin-fans and Lin-haters. Lin and star Lin being too selfish on the Knicks But mostly, the article is about Brooklyn Nets, Sean Marks and Kenny Atkinson, and what the team is trying to build. Also a tidbit on Scola.
If Tinman did not have to work in a Chinese restaurant and had the money for plastic surgeries, he'd make himself less Asian and actually white. Milky bar white.
I won't argue with you about that (I disagree, if you must know). But why would you compare Lin and Yao then? Yao said he is "a Rocket for life" because the team treated him great. Lin doesn't consider himself "a Rocket for life" because the team traded him away. Um...doesn't that make perfect sense?
