So, if Bogut publicly announces Houston too soon, Utah could step in and sabotage our signing to weaken us in the playoffs,,,like they did with the DMo signing.

Someone needs to shut up Mr. Motie then. We need to keep this a secret until 4pm Wed.

 

This is a good point, maybe also cause their extension talks with Hill have ended? But do they really want to claim a guy like Bogut if he doesn't want to be there?

 

That would be my guess. But the fact that Utah is directly behind Houston in the standings, was linked to Bogut last week by Shams, AND has some financial motivation (salary floor) to do it does make me a bit nervous.

Jazz have the high quantity front court like us, Hayward / Ingles / Johnson at the 3 means they have to play minutes at the 4, plus they have in Diaw/Lyles as well with Favors, which means their center position is Gobert / Favors and Withey. They seem pretty set, but could always use another high iq shot blocking big man like every other team.
