Maybe... though if the Pacers aren't looking for a rebuild, they should keep PG. Granted, he may bolt... but seems like they are going the route of keep him and try to build enough around him over the nest 18 months to keep him long term.
100% agree. It's a fantastic deal for the pacers Get a top 3 pick in a very loaded draft and also get brown who looks like a very talented players. He's been one of the better rookies so far and he's really young. That's a great nucleus to go around turner. I hope that under the table Paul Goerge tells bird he wants to be in houston. Because from a system standpoint he fits here better than Boston. He's the missing link here in Boston he fits too but we need that elite small forward, it's all we're missing. Ariza gets a lot of open looks and opportunities to put the ball on the floor. It's just a perk of playing with harden the small forwards gets open shots and line drives to create for himself or others. PG would be perfect in the role. In fact I think he would have career years. He would be a 25ppg scorer here next to harden and would really elevate his status in the league to were he wants it to be. In Boston I don't think he gets more than 18-20ppg even though I think Boston would be a great team. In houston he's the man with harden on a real contender in Boston he's one of the guys on contenders in the east. I think houston has better parts on it if we had pg than Boston just my opinion.
PG is better, so I'm hoping they get Butler. Somewhat off topic, but I would reach out to Boston for a Westbrook trade if I were Presti. There's not going to be another good team with this kind of asset stockpile any time soon. It would be in the best interest of the Thunder and Westbrook.
Neither. Typical Boston bullcrap. Until I see it with my own eyes I don't believe anything that comes out of their mouthpieces.
Even though i don't really think Ainge has any interest in him, i kinda hope they end up with Melo lol
Can we dream about this? Spoiler: Don't click if you're not delusional lol Gordon + Dekker + KJ + 2019 unprotected 1st + 2nd/s Next season roster: Capela/Nene/Nanu Ryan/Trez/Wiltjer George/Ariza/Gentile Harden/Lou/Terry (lol) Pat/Llull/GPII Spoiler Oh, eventually sign and trade Griffin/Millsap + pick for Ryan and Lou
Lakers could offer Clarkson, Ingram, and multiple 1sts for George. I think Larry Bird would have to think about that one long and hard. Hell, Ingram, Randle, Calderon's 1 year deal plus multiple 1sts is intriguing too.
on draft night. Now Bird would be an idiot to accept such an offer. As soon as George goes to LA he's bound to at least get a couple of wins on his own even with a roster full of scrubs and then Indy will not get the 1st rounder of 2017 or 2019.
Yep. Which is how the Rockets got Lou and how the Lakers got good grades on the deal. They are looking to get worse worse worse this year.
Nearly everyone is expendable on this roster outside of Harden and maybe Capela(just because they are so thin down low). The problem is, this roster doesn't have a lot of pieces attractive to a team looking to rebuild like the Pacers would be. Agree that PG would be the PERFECT piece on this roster but I don't think Houston has the right type of assets to make it happen. If PG is ever going to wear a Rockets jersey, it's going to be because he came here as a FA which I don't think is out of the question.
