@WojVerticalNBA: The Brooklyn Nets are trading Bojan Bogdanovic to the Washington Wizards, league sources tell @TheVertical. m.twitter.com/WojVerticalNBA Good get
@WojVerticalNBA: Nets were determined to get a first-round pick for Bogdanovic, a restricted free agent. This likely gives Brooklyn two picks in the 20's @WojVerticalNBA: Nets are sending Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough to the Wizards for Andrew Nicholson and a 2017 first-round pick, sources tell @TheVertical.
Well the Nets may have become the laughingstock of the league but now they have managed to have 2 first rounders n the 20s. That's a good start.
He's restricted. Bog's is a pretty good rotation player, I like him. I think Washington got nervous after losing out on Lou Williams.
If they liked him that much they could pay for him this summer. It's Grunfeld the worst GM of the league though. It's not that I don't like him, it's that his d is very bad but when he's on he can score non stop. The way this goes it's defnitely a seller's market right now. (except for Boogie ofc).
the 2017 is a pick swap with the Cs. the 2018 they lose it completely. So they will get the Ws and Cs first rounders. Not much but if they are good at drafting they can unearth a good cheap roleplayer. Their new GM is pretty good I like him.
Nets didn't want to pay Bogs his next contract, which could start at $10m/yr or more. So moved him for whatever they could get. When you are rebuilding, dont want to be tied down with good to have but doesnt move the needle players. But if you're the Wizards with a core pretty much set, you probably take a risk to see if Bogs can become a Jamal Crawford type instant offense off the bench. Bogs will be pretty good to have off the bench. If he starts, your team is in trouble.
Don't know how accurate it is as I looked it up pretty quickly but apparently he's shooting 48% from corner 3's...John Wall is about to go crazy
