Love him or hate him, no one can argue that this man has an insatiable work ethic. It's obvious that the office isn't too big for him because he honestly has nicer & bigger estates than the white house and has had private security for 40+ years. He's met world leaders before, he's been in big meetings before, etc... It's all old hat for him and it seems to allow him to get to work. Again love the work or hate the work, the man is not impressed which means he can put the hours in.

For Obama, he was in awe of the office, the achievement, the pomp and circumstance of it all took some getting used to. For Bush, it was the ego, the continuing the Bush legacy, etc... Less for Bush though since he had been a governor while Obama never had that type of executive leadership before. Regardless, I can't remember either of them going has hard at the beginning as Trump is.

Again, this is not about if you love or hate is work it's about the level of effort which is undeniable. I should be working that hard instead of arguing with idiots on cf.net all day. :p

it's obvious that Trump is too thin-skinned for the office of POTUS.

    he needs to
    • get off campaign mode,
      • who gives a sh it what the crowd size was at his inaugural, just get to the business of being the POTUS, such as detailing/specifying
the plan for replacing the ACA
whether or not US will build a border wall
    • deal w criticism, which comes w the territories.
      • he should know, cos he had spread fake news---questioning Obama's legitimacy as the POTUS > 50 times---even after O had produced his birth certificate

You're not exactly wrong but this thread is about his work ethic. You or anyone else cannot deny his work ethic even if you don't like the work. Also, any reasonable person could see that the border wall is not a priority right now. Primary focus early has been on the economy and rightfully so. I think he'll get to the wall eventually but it's clear to me that the wall was just part of the plan to win votes and not really a key campaign issue for him. Like most politicians he was doing whatever it took to just win baby since that's the first step to getting anything done. And boy is he getting things done.

Some people are saying he has an incredibly short attention span and prefers watching cable news to actually putting in the hours.

that's possible but he's also had several meetings with industry leaders, many of whom when asked if they've ever been to white house/oval office most said no, just on day one. who knows if he can keep that up but for a 70 y/o, ******* that's pretty impressive. love him or hate him how many of use will work that hard when we're 70.

Yes he works hard. I don't know why anyone would ever question if the President (past and present) work hard. Seems extremely silly.

Trump brands himself on being a diligent worker with a tremendous work ethic. It's all part of the show. He has crafted that brand for decades and clearly it has worked on you. He may not be as successful has he proclaims to be, why do you think he refuses to release his tax returns? Perhaps it'll show that he's been misleading the public about his wealth and success all along.

It's all coming together now, even the recent news about propping up his Inauguration attendance and bringing in a clapping squad to his press conferences, they are all indicative of a man who tries to mislead others and prop himself up more than actuality.

Of course he isn't....he isn't even a billionaire - the NY Times ran an article about his true wealth and how if he would have taken his fathers loans and just invested them in an index fund that he would have more money than he has now.

You know he's doing what he does best his entire life, fool individuals like you by selling a veneer of gold plating full of ****. No, he doesn't work hard. People who know him well besides obvious biased individuals such as his family think he has severe ADHD and never has read a book front to back cover in his entire life. In fact that sentiment comes from his ghost writer who probably spent the most one on one time with him outside his immediate family. He never had to work hard his entire life. The fact hat you legitimately believe in this makes me believe you are the type of individual who would buy an admission into Trump University and come home from a hard day of faux education to have some delicious Trump steaks. He loves people like you.

Like him or not, he put in the hours during his campaign. I know some will disagree.

This is pile of crap, you're fishing for some kind compliment about Trump and crafting fictional narrative about Obama and Bush. Clinton, maybe Carter during the Hostage crisis, and George H.W. Bush can probably be credibly labeled as hard-working Presidents. Obama had an academic background that necessitated significant working and study hours. Trump is just networking, asking for a number and making a contact, like he did in the private sector. That's a perfectly meaningful skill: even though the likely motive here is just to build his kids' rolodex, but he's going to have study and analyze some real problems with stakeholders outside of his social and class band.

Hilldawg would only put in a fraction of the time. Her 4 years would be auto-pilot of the last 8.

Her entire life history is the compelte opposite of Trump. SHe actually came from a middle class family and went to a public high school and went all the way up to Yale Law on her own academic merit. She actually has a history of having individual merit unlike our current president who slipped out of a vagina worth 300 mil in capital.
