can someone take a picture of one of those "upper decker" baseball booster packs and impose a pic of one of dekker's throwdowns? i would if i knew how to do it
Yes, for a lot of the people that didn't give him a chance and called him a scrub especially being a rookie and being injured. Credit to Dekker for taking his time to get healthy instead of rushing back so he could prove people wrong. And credit to Morey for a draft pick that most did not understand, including myself. Turned out to be a great pick considering this is his first real year of playing and he has more room for improvement.
Montrezl scored 29 pretty recently. I'm thinking that's more than DMo ever scored in a game as well. Correct me if I'm wrong. Very happy with the increased minutes for Sam, Trez, and Clint who had 22 and 12 last night against GS. I was saying this before we even matched DMo. Those guys don't back down and play pretty well in big games. Love what I'm seeing. The win against GS earlier this season doesn't happen without those guys playing big minutes and contributing. They played well and that win is what propelled the win streak.
Like I said a long, long time ago. Dude does winning things. I'd honestly give serious thought to keeping him in the starting lineup even with Ryan back.
Sam Dicker! Dicking down all those who called him a scrub. I just don't understand how people can pull such strong judgements out of their ass so early on in players careers, calling guys scrubs/future stars left and right.
DMo had 26. Harrell also had the 28pts 12-13 game. T Jones had 33 and 36 in his second year at same age. Of course, none of those were their first start except Dekker.
Serve me up a couple of helpings, please. I never saw this coming. I thought at best he'd be a back-of-the-rotation hustle guy, good for maybe 6 ppg and 10-12 pts on occasion. Glad I was wrong, though, so this will be some of the most delicious crow I've ever eaten.
I don't know what his ceiling is but he's def a starting level player and a damn good draft pick by Morey. I can't believe this guy didn't get drafted in the top 10 same can be said for Capela. Morey is good at finding gems in the last 1st or early 2nd round. Can he be a 16-18ppg with 7 rebound and above average defense? I think he is on the right track.
What a great night, he really adds so much more to the lineup than Brewer, really really was the difference tonight. His strength is playing OFF the ball, and that helps a lot on this team. Great job Dekker! DD
He is really good at just being in the right place either for open layups or offensive rebounds. He's been doing it long enough now to were I don't think it's a fluke. The shooting in still not sold on I think it's flukey but that's a skill set players get better at all the time, but everything else he does is the real Deal and some of the stuff is just IQ and that can't be taught. ..... and how about that give and go between dekker and harden that pass James made right back to dekker for the dunk was one of the best passes iv seen in a long time it's a thing of beauty. Kenny smith saying harden isn't a PG? Than what does that say about the pg position? Harden is a better passer than curry and Westbrook by a lot. Only guys that pass as good as harden are Lebron and cp3.
