Chandler Parsons had possibly the single best pump fake in basketball history... It was easily the biggest strength of his game.

Chandler Parsons: Gets players and GMs to bite on a shot/game that was never there to begin with.

Expert manipulations on the court and in life.. I would admire him if he wasn't such a professional douche bag.

Posters need to be temporarily banned for the claim that he's overpaid and costing us games.

you fools need to understand we aren't losing games because he's missing shots. it's the defense that cost us games.

Ryan Anderson is a big guy who can shoot , of course he's going to get paid a lot .

Frankly , whether or not he is overpaid is going to be revealed in the playoffs .

Anderson for all his skill is NOT versatile . He's not a versatile scorer , he's not a valuable defender, and he's not an potent passer. Come crunch time he's going to have to make money from his ELITE skill which is shooting .

He's going to have to either make the defense respect his gravity or make them pay dearly if they don't .

He's also going to have to hope Clint comes back so our defense can shut down the rim a bit.

I like Ryan , I wish we would find a way to use him outside camping at the 3 . A pick and pop from midrange a la Aldridge is not an efficient* shot . But if teams are going to try and shut down the three point line then it CAN be a wide open shot which is what we need to be able to generate .

That's not true, because if they didn't miss shots they'd score more points than the other team. That is how you win basketball.

I guess is this is how his four years will be? Has a bad game, thread gets bumped with remarks about how awful and overpaid he is every time?

actually, I remember him being money in the playoffs vs. gs a couple of years ago. and he made the finals as Dwight's stretch 4...

edit: did some digging....40% + from three with NOP. I guess he did have an off year in (9-10)

I don't think we can expect any shooter to always shoot lights out, Anderson shot like **** this game but he has been money the last 9 so I think he deserves a pass for one or two bad shooting nights.

I honestly think Anderson is underutilized, it's like he pigeon holed himself into just being a spot up shooter. He actually has a variety of skills, if he were just more aggressive on offense he can easily score 18 pts a game. We need him to channel his inner Westbrick when Gordon is out.

He literally needs to see how Love transitioned from his first year in CLE (relegated to spot-up shooter) to his second (resembles the Minny Love), and mold his game around that.

He's always gonna be inconsistent. He'el give you one good game, then disappears for the next 4.
