Let the critics continue to doubt us. As the game approaches, the Texans have all the momentum. There is no other place I'd rather be, as a fan, than rooting for the Texans as the media continues to pile it on. The players are going to be pissed. In reality, this team has a lot to prove. It's a vastly different team than it was at Foxboro earlier in the year. There's a lot more to play for. This media thing, and the point line is getting out of hand. The Texans lost by 27 against the Patriots third string quarterback earlier in the year, yes, but 21 of those points were practically gifted to the Patriots. The other six, I believe came from quarterback scrambles, which we were unprepared for with a rookie QB at the helm. Brady won't do that to us. I'm cautiously optimistic (I'm forever an optimist) about this game. I truly think we can shock the world. The only thing the Patriots have better than the Texans is coach and quarterback. The rest of the arrows are pointing down south. Let's see if we can shock the world. As I said in the other thread, bring it on.
I like the optimism from some, especially the video above, but I dont think the Texans pull this out. I'll be happy to be wrong come Sunday. Side note, how awesome would it be if the Texans DO INDEED beat the Pats, and get to the Super Bowl, IN HOUSTON, followed by a Rockets championship run, and to close out the year, an Astros World Series run!
Good news! The Texans beat the Patriots in overtime 26-20 with a touchdown pass to CJF. Miller has over 140 yards this game. I have proof Spoiler I beat them on Madden last night Get ready to camp out at the airport to welcome the team back.
Texans ML +942 Haven't seen numbers like this unless it was a mismatched boxing fight lol I jumping on this. Who cares anyway, its just money!!!!
Texas ML is a brave/foolish bet. You got some balls, son! I'd consider maybe taking the points, but with the ML you'd be better off wiping your ass with the cash and flushing it down the toilet because at least that way you'd get some use out of it.
This is going to be fun to watch the New England fans boo the Texans for running up the middle for a loss.
We only played one true cold weather game this year, @GB, and wasn't a great showing but our offense was also pretty much at its low point then. Other than that I recall nice wins in frigid weather @Chicago and @GB in years past but those were both under Kubiak.
I respectfully beg to differ. If I was a betting man, I would put 85% of the play on the spread, Texans and the points...along with 15 % on the ML.
