Back to back div titles with sub par qb play. Fire the coach! Kubes play calling was horrible too oh wait he won a super bowl after we fired him...........
Spoiler This offense sucks! Thank his lucky stars for Romeo Crennel & the defense. No one is confusing these guys for All-Pro's but if you need All-Pro's to make your offense look good or work... Signed QB Osweiler RB Miller OL Bergstrom OL Allen Drafted 4th QB Savage 4th RB Ervin 1st WR Fuller 3rd WR Miller(now on IR) 3rd WR Strong(now on IR) 3rd TE Fiedorowicz 2nd OL Martin(IR) 2nd OL Su'a-Filo Oh, and that "Hopkins" guy (who didn't forget how to play football).
He's very Les Miles'ish because he wins with trash qb's and you don't know how. But back to back division titles are the only thing that matters at this point.
I just think O'Brien's just super conservative because he doesn't trust his QBs. He won't expand the playbook unless he has to (like last week when we had to comeback vs. Jacksonville).
Bob in the press after the game : "The players deserve most of the credits, the assistant coaches deserve some of the credits." (Bob : I know I suck, so it is what it is...)
A real coach would not let his team be overcomed by lower level teams and forced to "open up" this so called play book. Also where was this "open up" playbook when we were getting squashed by the pats, broncos, & Vikings. O'Brien is just like uncle BOB a Mr.playing it safe. If it weren't for our D and Romeo we would be the browns
... and live with three straight winning seasons and two straight division titles. It took five years for Kubes to acquire a great DC (and by acquire I mean the owner hired his DC of choice). OBie hired great DC at his start. OBie has started eight different QBs the last three years and has a winning record. You can blame the eight QBs on OBie but finding an elite QB in FA or draft is damn hard.
