Capela is the only player on the roster that can guard an elite big. No amount of stats or tweets trying to tell me this isn't a big loss can change that. Aldridge and Gasol will kill Harell and Nene. Fortunately it's just the regular season. Take a few losses against teams that can exploit this (SAS, Jazz etc.) and move on. Would REALLY love Noel if the price is right. A lineup of Noel, Anderson, Ariza, Bev, and Harden could challenge anyone in the playoffs GSW/CLE included. He is a difference maker on defense and that lineup can defend and score.

Well... so much for that extended run we were having without any major injuries. It was a nice change of pace as a Rockets fan.

I think/hope we can survive a while without Capela given our play style, but long term, I definitely think we need him. Both because we need a big, and because I want him to continue to develop so that he can really become valuable in the coming years.

A healthy Donuts sure would be nice right about now, heh. But man... they said it was a "bruise" yesterday. Now it's an effin broken leg? Damn.

As in you're done with this team if they make a trade you don't like? Us older farts around here that wore twin towers t shirts to elemantary school say: "bye."

No chance in hell Morey will trade for Omers multi year deal. Plus Omer has been on a slope of decline for a few years now.

I doubt morey wants asik on his contract particularly since he isn't a great finisher and has had pouting issues before.

Anyone we bring in has to know the role and be a good chemistry fit.

That latest tweet is saying 4-6 weeks, and possibly even less if some good news comes through? If so, I feel like a lot of people are overreacting... Our schedule doesn't look that bad to me over that time period (except for the fact that we have so ******* many back-to-backs, especially with fairly significant travel involved, in that regard, we are really getting a raw deal the first half of the season). But let's see what happens tonight.

They do have a glut of bigs and are in need of athletic wing players. They're also familiar with KJ. That would be a good trade I think if we could do it. Mike was on staff with them last year so he also has familiarity with Holmes.

Holmes would flat rock it in our system. He's better than Harrell. And he's got a blooming 3-ball.

I'm depressed. How the guys respond will tell us a lot about our depth at the 5, but losing Clint is a blow, no matter how you slice it. His development has been outstanding. Let's hope this is just a bump in the road.
