Harden is 6th in PPG, 10th in FGA. If Harden took as many shots as Westbrook, he'd average 36.3 ppg and would have a clear lead in the scoring race. Those people you talk to aren't all that bright. Time for new friends? I almost hope they leave Harden off the ballot and his only way to get retribution is to dominate in the playoffs all the way to hoisting the only trophy that really matters.
Harden will never win MVP in Houston, most of the voters dislike Houston Rockets for some reason. They are biased, just like they were last year when it came to all-nba voting.

A couple of years ago when Harden finished second behind Curry, Harden was in my opinion the more deserving choice, but let's not overlook how great if a season Curry had. Curry was a right choice, it's just that Harden was, IMO, the more right choice. This year- who knows? Still too early to tell. For me Harden has to be the favorite? GSW has too many stars, you could debate who's the most valuable on that team between Curry and Durant. OKC hasn't been a good enough team. LeBron has been having a good season but not as dominant compared to his standards. Harden does so much. I'm kind of tired of the Harden-Nash comparisons, but Harden controls our offense to a degree that hasn't really been seen since then. We will see how the rest of the season goes, but if the season ended today I'm not sure how you could not give it to him.
"Hey Dream, you know, I think that was your MVP they just gave to David Robinson". "Drex, do not worry. We will get the big trophy".
Was it worth it to watch in 3D? I actually can't see 3D so the real question is it worth my displeasure in seeing a darker screen and paying more money so my 8 year old son can see it in 3D.
Looks like the media is reaching and grabbing for a way to steer to the voters to give Westbrook MVP, check this joke of an article out http://www.espn.com/blog/marc-stein...stbrook-leads-marc-steins-ballot-for-west-mvp Our man Zach Lowe just expertly illustrated how worthy of MVP consideration the perpetually overlooked Gasol is -- just to highlight one example -- but that's the Western Conference landscape as we speak. Russell Westbrook and James Harden just aren't leaving a lot of oxygen for their peers to bask in These two are both accounting for better than 50 points per game when you add their scoring to their passing, which is something we haven’t seen in the NBA since Nate Archibald’s momentous 1972-73 season, when Tiny became the only player in history to lead the league in both scoring and assists in a single season. Archibald and Oscar Robertson are the only players in league annals to average at least 28.0 points and 11.0 assists for an entire season; Westbrook and Harden are right in that zone. They likewise awoke Friday ranked second and third behind New Orleans’ Davis in the player efficiency rating, with Westbrook (28.57) second and Harden (27.89) third. The six guys we named off the top are playing brilliant basketball. You could scarcely go wrong picking any of them as the First Trimester MVP out West. Yet we simply can’t resist, after all the box scores they stuffed through Thanksgiving and heading into Christmas now, keeping things narrow and lasering in on Westbrook and Harden. And then ultimately Russ. With Harden, Houston is undeniably a better team than Oklahoma City is with Westbrook, as evidenced by the Rockets’ 20-7 start and resulting 61-win pace. But Harden has been able to lean on the likes of Eric Gordon and Patrick Beverley to help steady things. With Westbrook, it’s not merely that he’s threatening to do something no one else but the Big O has ever managed before with his preposterous averages of 30.5 points, 10.6 assists and 10.5 rebounds. It’s that we’ve reached the point that the Thunder seem to need Westbrook to post a triple-double to win the game. On a tidy little 47-win pace of its own in Year 1 post-Durant, 15-11 OKC enters Saturday’s home date with Phoenix at 9-3 when Angry Russ gets his triple-double -- and 6-8 when he doesn’t. -------------------------- ok so where was this talking point in 2015 when curry had all the help and harden had most of his teammates due to injury. he still led his team to 56 wins i believe. and was robbed by mvp according to the logic you are presenting.
Marc Stein's bestie Mark Cuban thinks Harden is MVP......that's gonna make things really awkward for them at breakfast.
IF (huge if) westbrook can actually average a triple double while leading the thunder to a top 6 finish, they're gonna give it to him soley based on hype of "OMG he average a triple double!!!!! oscar robertson!!!!). The media highkey wants Westbrook to win MVP. Look on snapchat, he gets his own segment while nothing for harden.
But before the season people said the rockets wouldn't even make the playoffs and gushed about how talented the thunder were hahahahaha Harden "leaning" on Patrick ****ing Beverley hahahahahaha People actually get paid to write garbage like this.
LOL @ NBA.com wasting all their introduction on the Warriors, they just cannot help themselves. It's hard to deny Westbrook, but Harden has to be it. They relied on Harden so much in 2015 and was still snubbed, so cannot give it to Westbrook now with the argument 'Rockets are a better team'..
Marc Stein argues Westbrook over Harden for 1-2 in MVP ranking in the West: http://www.espn.com/blog/marc-stein...stbrook-leads-marc-steins-ballot-for-west-mvp
