irrelevant but his clients also include Derrick Rose, Bismack Biyombo and our favorite Draymond Green
D-Mo needs to openly state whether or not he's making the decisions here and if he wants to play for the Rockets or not.
And OMER ASIK. Think about it for a second. This is between Armstrong and Morey. It really has nothing to do with DMO.
I think publicly they told lies, behind closed doors they made it clear they were through dealing with the Rockets and they did not want to deal with the Rockets anymore.
BJ Armstrong career record against the Rockets 8-14, and he played with the Jordan Bulls... I think he can add another to the loss column after this week.
If BJ didnt want to deal with the Rockets he shouldn't represent a Rockets RFA.... no matter what the Rockets have the right to match..... Clown move and may see him struggle to be taken seriously by other GMs.
Soo... who else is old enough to remember BJ Armstrong getting drafted by the Raptors in the expansion draft then refuse to report?
I remember him. A motorcycle accident derailed his career if I'm correct. However, I don't remember his antics with the Raptors. *Nice* clients he got there.
Armstrong works for DMO, not vice versa. DMO can accept whatever offer is given. It has EVERYTHING to do with the player.
Um that was Jay Williams. BJ went on to play for the warriors after he pulled that b**** move on the raptors
There is a precedent for this prima donna feeling entitled. He pulled a stunt like this back in 1995 and was successful. The Toronto Raptor's roster was filled as a result of an expansion draft in 1995. Following a coin flip, Toronto was given first choice and selected Chicago Bulls point guard and three-point specialist B. J. Armstrong. Armstrong refused to report for training and Isaiah Thomas promptly traded him to the Golden State Warriors for power forwards Carlos Rogers and Victor Alexander. Thomas then selected a wide range of players in the expansion draft.
