Yeah and people want to trade Ariza lol. This teams chemistry is on point! So glad they chucked out the off coaching staff and some of the players
Harden has had 5 games where he has recorded 15 plus assists whilst the rest of the NBA has a combined total of 1.The man is playing on all time great status tag.
Here's another from Feigen's article about SAS game. With 4½ minutes left Wednesday, James Harden grabbed a rebound and went coast-to-coast, finishing with a flash of a layup. With that, he not only gave the Rockets a five-point lead, he had done something no one had. He became the first Rockets player ever with a 15-assist triple-double, the first visiting player to record a triple-double with 15 assists in San Antonio in the 20-season Gregg Popovich era.
This is an interesting little stat. I remember all the years of Rondo and Rubio chatter. Those are two legit pass first point guards. When your SG is playing better PG than two pure point guards AND scoring the ball... We are witnessing some amazing basketball right now. It is special.
I was one of those fans who thought Harden needed to work more off the ball. That was before I realized that Harden IS a Points Gawd and a Gawd among Points.

Does total appearances on Shaqtin' a Fool count as a stat? He's on two or three already. He may break Javale McGee's record. http://www.nba.com/video/2016/11/11/20161110shaqtinafool
Not a stat, but I think we'll see a Harden 30/20 game this season. It will all line up. The right opponent, and Ariza, Dekker, Gordon, Ryno and Bev if healthy all feeling it. Brewer will probably still miss :-(
While previous seasons from Harden have been debated, it is without question this season will (at this rate) be the best offensive season in Houston Rockets basketball history.
