In addition to my regular Rotation I picked up This is Us - ULTRA sweet, maybe a little too sweet. It's good though. The first couple episodes have some nice twists. Queen Sugar - The most interesting show about Sugar Cane farming you will ever get. The only show about Sugar Cane farming. It from the director of Selma so VERY LITTLE levity in this Drama. I'm getting tired of black people suffering properties. But it's good. The Good Place - Not great but it gets funnier around the 3rd episode. Luke Cage WestWorld Atlanta American Horror Story - After dropping AHS for two seasons, I'm back. It's ok. SYFY Originals - I tried Aftermath didn't like it. Van Helsing, I might give it another chance after watching the 1st episode. I haven't seen Channel Zero, but it's from the guy who did Chronicle. I'm most interested in Incorporated.
I'm very excited about WestWorld! I'm 7 episodes into Luke Cage and I'm enjoying it so far. OP if you haven't watched You're the Worst yet, I recommend it.
American Horror Story is in its best season yet. The only season I've really enjoyed was the first. The rest have started off okay, and then gotten bad quick. Hopefully this one stays okay.
Exactly this. . . . I guess I will ha I don't know THIS IS US / THE GOOD PLACE . . . had no seen alot of advertising for it. I have Queen Sugar on my DVR Finished LUKE CAGE - it is great. Atlanta is good . .. still waiting on it to grow Waiting on WestWorl - Have not heard alot of great things about the SyFy shows. I am always 50 50 with them Incorporated looks good though Exactly this. . . . I guess I will have to give it a shot Speechless - watched the first two episode - it was ok . BlackList is back but it is not as exciting as the first seasons Same with the Strain. Drop BlindSpot mid season last year -- Dropped Gotham -- Dropped Lucifer but may go back to it. Agenst of shield is better than it has been in the last season but it is only 2 episodes in MacGyver looks like a hot mess THIS WEEKEND: WestWorld/Elementary/ Timeless on monday/ The Flash on Tuesday The Arrow on Wednesday - Maybe Frequency Next Sunday Insecure Rocket River
I've been regularly watching Atlanta and You're The Worst on FX. I'm really looking forward to WestWorld tomorrow though.
It's good to hear the reviews on the current AHS. I will resume watching it. The premiere of Aftermath was so over the top it was ridiculous.
Checked out the Exorcise - Meh. They seem to be trying to take their time to get into everything. They don't have that kind of time. They might get two more episodes out of me. . . and even that may not be anytime soon. Designated Survivor - I think I've seen this story before. . . . basically I am guessing it is a bit of West Wing Meets Flash Forward (Meaning it has a mystery to be solved) Queen Sugar - I watched 5 episodes. It is ok. More of a chick flick thing. I recommend it but I don't think it is for me Rocket River
I actually like the good place. I am curious about the designated survival. First episode showed potential. Our theory after watching the first 10 minutes of the first episode is . That being said our theories have not been accurate (see the flash threads).
We're watching "Bull" (CBS) and "Designated Survivor" (ABC). Both have been solid. We're also watching "The Strain" (FX). We're looking forward to checking out "Training Day" (CBS) as a mid-season show as well.
Didn't think I'd like This Is Us, but it turns out that it's really pretty good. A little sappy, but interesting characters and nice writing. Wife made me watch The Good Place. It's pretty out there, but I'll give it 1 more episode before telling her she can watch it by herself. Only 1 episode into Designated Survivor. Seems pretty unrealistic, but I have a man-crush on Kiefer Sutherland, so.....
Designated Survivor has been decent so far. The Blacklist has my attention again and Atlanta is great. Speechless was so-so although I like Minny Driver, its a tad over the top in places. This Is Us was pretty good, the father who moved in with the family is a good story line. I am on the fence with Lucifer, it started out great but the storyline needs to get better this year
Timeless - It was meh . . . might give it two more episodes They moved in quickly . .. i expect them to fill in alot of blanks Simply not filling in back story is not creating a mystery Rocket River
I like how time was changed when they came back to the present. Predictable, but most everything is in time travel shows. I don't know if I want to sit through the story of the week just to figure out what has changed in the present though If they are going to keep going in the past to to try and stop this guy, the past will always be changed, right?.Does it mean the main characters will never come back to there original present? This show makes me miss (whispers) SLIDERS. They should reboot Sliders!
Better things is good. Quote of the year fom Max in the premier... "Don't you want me to have good organic nugs mom?" Westworld looks good. I think HBO can do good things with the premise.
