All series talk goes in here. Non series talk goes somewhere else. No PBP that can be found from other sources if you need it. All games are broadcast on Root Sports unless otherwise noted. 9-5 Mike Fiers, RHP vs. Mike Clevinger, RHP 6:10 9-6 Dallas Keuchel, LHP vs. Corey Kluber, RHP 6:10 9-7 Doug Fister, RHP vs. Carlos Carrasco, RHP 6:10 9-8 Joe Musgrove, RHP vs. Trevor Bauer, RHP 6:10
My money is on Doug Fister in game 3! Just kidding, I'm hoping for a sweep, but I will gladly take 3 out of 4 on the road. Let's go Club Astros, let's start our nationwide concert tonight!
W, W, a double no hitter win, L. Huge series, a sweep would be amazing, but I'll take 3-1 or 2-2 if necessary. can't lose three though. The fister vs fister match up will be the first time in mlb history.
The Stros have loved toying with our emotions all season and it will happen again. L (Blowout) L (BS, extra innings) W (Comeback in 8th/9th) W (Blowout)
gonna be tough. Kluber has been solid lately, Carrasco mostly good, and Bauer has climbed out of his slump. Need to start with a W today for sure
Very important series. I believe we still control our own destiny. Sweep the Indians and cross games between the Indians & Tigers guarantee us the chance to move ahead of one of them. Same would be true for Boston & Baltimore.
unpopular opinion here, but lindor could very well be just as good as correa, especially when you consider his defense. i really like this indians club. glad they aren't in our division. great, young pitching with a solid, young offensive core, too.
Lindor is a beast, good that he has that switch-hitting capability as well. I'm still taking Correa over him though. Younger, more power, and clutcher, but I can see arguments being made for Lindor. Both are behind Seager right now though. My top 5 SS are probably: Seager, Correa, Lindor, Crawford, Bogaerts. The crazy thing is Correa is still younger than both Seager and Lindor. Cleveland has won 6 straight. This is a tough series. Judging by the pitching matchups 1-3 seems the most likely outcome. I'd take 2-2 which is certainly doable. Fiers should get us the win tonight. Kluber and Carrasco are tough matchups for this team and Musgrove has been terrible on the road.

how did peacock even make it through all the cuts from 2013 and on? can we just use ... It only costs $40.00 at target so Crane doesn't have to worry about bumping out the 28th team in salary pay roll. Just thinking of better money ball options than peacock. It has 3 settings.
Forget that. Just look at his pitch count throughout this season, including his last few starts. If they really suspected fatigue, they sure didn't hold him back any which way.
The important thing is, when we gave Feldman away Crane saved quite a bit of money. Let's not worry so much about being two games out of the playoffs and sending a guy to the hill that is bad even in the minors, let's just be thankful that Jeff saved Uncle Jimbo some cash
