    Good series win... didn't expect this though the O's have been struggling of late.

    Giles gotta do much better than that though. Solo HR, couple hard hit balls, and not even a K

    Astros did well to come back and win the next 3 in the series. Didn't think they had it in them. Still showing some fight.

    I'm pretty sure Altuve deserves -2 errors for those plays saving Bregman and Marwin.

    It's his job till he actually blows em.

    Can't argue with the overall numbers since June 1st.

    Orioles announcers and post game crew butt hurt over calls going against them. All close but not obvious one way or another like they make it sound. Good recovery by team. Hope Baltimore is once again team springboard for win streak.

    I agree the role should be his, still feels unsure with him with just a 1 or 2 run lead. He was brought here to be lights out. Hope he can grow into that.

    It's both of their best pitches. Execution very important on it. Has to start in the zone and break late. Anything otherwise and its ineffective.

    I don't care if you throw 100, if you don't have a quality slider to keep them honest (or you're Billy Wagner), MLB hitters are going to catch up with it.

    Seems like he's still raw. Was the case last year too. But even then, he's been remarkably effective.

    Once he gets full command of proper pitch sequencing mixed with continued execution of the good slider, he's got tremendous upside.

    I'm glad he's in the fold for another 4+ years.

    3 out of 4 was pretty damn important. Going 6-1 against them on the year is also impressive. Keeps them afloat. Great to see Keuchel dominate a very potent lineup.

    Exactly! When he learns to spot that fastball and when and where to throw that slider he will be Lidge.

    Yep, I really enjoy watching him and hope he keeps it up. Especially having the chance to pitch in meaningful games unlike in Philly

    Yeah, they looked dead in the water after Toronto/St. Louis series's. Too bad Valbuena might not be able to join team for one last run to make playoffs. His pre-injury bat would make this team dangerous going down the stretch.

    What's crazy is that this season is far from over. Obviously we've had our setbacks, and we have an uphill climb, but once you're in the playoffs, all that matters is going in hot.

    October is a new season, just have to make it there. FanGraphs has us at 10% to make the playoffs. Time to get hot.

    Never say never, but our schedule from here on out is brutal...

    @Pirates (hot NL wildcard contender though they just got swept)
    vs Rays (they seem to have our #)
    vs A's (also struggle against them)
    then we have 4 series in a row against World Series contenders...
    @Rangers
    @Indians
    vs Cubs
    vs Rangers

    after that we STILL have 2 series against the M's, another wildcard contender...
