You would think they would have shown him some interest if it was there, so I am guessing the Tittans are the bottom of the barrel. Look for a final year at J'ville next year to round out the tour of the division.
If Schaub and Mario had stayed healthy, the Texans are at least hosting that divisional round game. That was easily the most talented football team in Houston since the 1991-1993 Oilers teams.
Idk where I saw it but someone suggested that this move shows how potentially weak Tennessee is at the WR position(alot of talented guys who just haven't produced anything). Either way I watched some Colts' games just to see how Dre did and he's honestly just collecting checks, there's nothing left in the tank at this point. He'll eventually realize this and prob sign a one-day to retire a Texan as he should.

Dre is my all-time favorite H-Town athlete, it is just hard to see him wearing another teams colors, especially the Tinbreads.
I kind of like it, to me it just looks like a division rival wasting money and a roster spot on a washed up has been.
I find sweet poetic justice in that he went to the Dolts and still couldn't win in the Texans vs Dolts matchup.
Maybe it's just me getting older and not getting attached to Houston professional athletes the way I have in the past, but seeing AJ in a titans uniform has exactly zero effect on me. I was absolutely sick seeing Hakeem in a raptors uniform, Earl in a saint's uniform and Nolan in a rangers uniform. This? Eh....
Yes and I'm certain the Colts beat the Texans in Houston last year. http://www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=400791487 Andre scored two touchdowns
To me it's about if they have anything left. I honestly didn't mind seeing Hakeem in a Raptors uniform because I already wanted Hakeem to retire. It was clear his game was in harsh decline and I saw that as him retiring but cashing a few more checks from a sucker team on the way out. Now Nolan Ryan on the Rangers? Blasphemy.
It's because it's the Texans. McNair has made it such a mediocre franchise. We need new ownership (and for the Rockets too for that matter).
LOL. Houston Teams ownerships are just fine. They are willing to spend money. Andre Johnson is done. You cant afford to keep players for sentimental purposes. Andre chose not to take a reduced role here and ended up having basically the season he would have had with the Texans. You want bad ownership, look at the Browns, Chargers, Raiders, and Dolphins.
