Absolutely, and when he's done with that he's got a gig wearing a classy pimp suit behind a desk every Sunday during the season.
I'm happy that he'll get one last payday and I'm happier that the Texans won that trade of Foster for Miller.
Hard guy not to root for as well as he played (and carried the offense at times) as a Texan. Will miss seeing him run that outside zone, poetry in motion.
Foster thought he was going to get 5-6 mill a year. He gambled and nobody wanted him. He is aging, injury prone. He may have 1-2 years of something left but he is 1 injury away from being released. Texans have to move on. Go younger and keep building. This is not a family business.
Nah, we need the roster spot. We needed to get younger at most positions, so I'm ok with letting him walk. Good luck to him. Gonna be weird seeing him do the bow in another uniform.
I will always root for Arian, he meant a ton to this team and was the most important offensive player in the history of this franchise What? He was cut, he didn't "gamble" on anything
Starting for Miami this week. I wish him all the best. He was a stud for us and we can certainly thank him for two of our playoff wins.
What would you say the over/under would be for games he plays this yr? Eight? Big fan of Foster, but the dude has had a hard time staying healthy over the past few seasons.
Did the Texans have an option to match? I'm sure he only accepted that because he knew it was a situation where he had a chance to start/prove himself/play. Good luck, Arian! Rooting for you in every game unless the playoffs force a matchup here!
I certainly hope he does well, I managed to pick him up in fantasy football using a late round pick. If he returns to form, that's a steal.
Perhaps the most important offensive player we've ever had in our successful years. I'll never forget screaming at the TV screen for Kubiak going away from him towards the end in that Baltimore playoff game that he was absolutely shredding them in.
