Which part? That people would still go on rampages if they didnt have access to bombs, guns and semi trucks?
Well, some refugees. I don't know the exact number. My guess would be maybe 50,000 to 100,000? But it might be a lot more. After Merkel "invited" certain people from all over the world, many of them have not even been registered at all. The same people will blame - socio-cultural reasons - Mossad - crusades - imperialist USA - Israel - unemployment And of course, all of that has nothing to do with... Sigh.
I just spent several idyllic days in the south of Germany, a lush, beautiful country, without the slightest problem. However, we saw a lot of security in Cologne, where we made a brief stop towards the end of our trip, and there were a lot of police and police helicopters in Bratislava during an earlier stop in Slovakia, but that was because of a high level EU meeting going on at the time. That was all on a river cruise, but I've ridden on trains in Germany and elsewhere in Europe in the past. This is pretty frightening, and the frequency of attacks seems to be increasing. About 40% of the booked passengers on the cruise had cancelled. These incidents have to be hammering the tourist industry. Putting aside tourism, the everyday lives of Europeans are being put at risk. I'm not sure just what can be done about it, either.
So many people on this forum have been attacking me for many years when I spoke of the dangers of a certain ideology. It's sad.
Going off of what Juan was saying, ATW, do you feel that your day-to-day life has changed at all? In Germany, in your travels elsewhere? Of course airports and train stations will be different, but just in general? I'm curious.
Well, to a large extent, it is. That doesn't mean all Muslims believe in the death cult components of it, of course. But if hundreds of millions of followers of the religion think the right punishment for leaving the religion is death, etc., then what is it? I know you are critical of the Wahhabis - they fund a large percentage of madrassas and Islamic literature worldwide. And the truth is, the Mullahs in Iran aren't really any better.
Can you link to the post? I don't see a post by a Juan on this thread. I haven't changed my life because of terror. My life has changed because I became a father 8 weeks ago, so I have been traveling less, but now I fly a couple of times a week again, which is less than before. I take trains, etc. I have been to practically all the places of recent terror attacks many, many times, certainly the Promenade d'Anglais in Nice, I stayed there very recently, also to Brussels, Paris, London, Istanbul, I was on that train route in Germany before...and I grew up very close to Cologne where the massive sex attacks by Muslims happened on new year's eve, something that would have never happened when I was growing up there. And I still go to football matches, where you feel slightly uneasy nowadays, as in any large gathering. And after Istanbul, once more, one has a weird feeling when in the non-secured check-in areas of airports in Europe. But what can I do? Should I lock myself up at home? But no matter how hostile people are to me here when I point out the dangers of Islam, the threat is real, it is a threat to me and my family. And it almost always comes from followers of that ideology.
