ABC reporting 3 officers in critical condition too. Horrible. Whoever did this had nontrivial training, I would guess. God bless the officers, their families, and the innocents all around.

    Social Media actually helped.

There was a 2nd guy that was wearing some type of jacket/body armor. Whether he was wearing it as a mocking protest or not, nobody knows. There was video of him being taken down. Not the same guy in these pics.

Im honestly relieved to read that he handed over his gun.

Let's just hope some idiot doesnt mistake him for a suspect still.

another observation, it's interesting to me that all law enforcement outlets are publishing video, pics, press conferences, just really give tons of info on the injured and deceased.

that is a stark contrast to missing video, erased video, confiscated video, lost/malfunctioning body cams, etc... when a civilian is shot by police.

i know this is live right now but we should lose sight of all this weeks victims. cops lives are not worth more or less than civilians. all loss of life this week due to this distrust is extremely sad.

ISIS would try to kill everybody, not target just police.

I am saying that I view what they are doing as similar to Boston Tea Party. You are saying that you think they believe what they are doing is something like the Boston Tea Party, but you don't consider it that.

The weird thing is that if the justice system is failing you, which it has numerous times, with too many cases of wasteful killings, then they believe that the criminal justice system is corrupt, at that point you have a choice, either fight back, which is what they did in Boston when they were getting taxation without representation, or lose their voice.

The only way to understand tonight is in that framework in my opinion. That they believe that something has to change or people are going to die. Simple as that.

Yeah, but his point still stands in a different way. It ended up just causing confusion.

She was mimicking the hands up don't shoot gesture while officers are being shot dead.
