This was probably 100% the Rockets strategy, which fell apart when Durant said "No"...nothing against Cyber and what he said at all. DD
That's true. I will admit I underestimated how far the Rocket's image tanked, I get hung up on having the ability to get two max contracts plus Harden.
Just curious, what has cyberx actually predicted that has come true? How are people sure he is an insider? Not trying to throw shade, just legitimately don't know. All his threads are like 100+ pages.
Well it WAS wrong the affirmation that KD wanted to be in Houston as alot of people claimed, in fact he never set eyes here in the first place
KD doesnt the deserve the Rockets. Were underdawgs with the Hearts of Champions... The Dream as my witness. Good ridance to that fella.
KD going to GSW also affects one of their greatest strengths, their depth. Starting 4 is going to be elite but injuries can really affect T them now. Especially because 2nd unit is older. Bogut loss is also underrated.
How would you say it did? I strongly suggest that you read what he said and then think about it for a moment. If you still don't realize that you are wrong, I don't know... maybe learn how to read or grow a brain. Whichever seems easier.
For those a little slow on the uptake, let me spell out what chenjy9 is saying in very simple terms. Cyber didn't say we were Getting Durant. He said that Rockets FO were aggressively pursuing him. I highly believe Cyber's statement that they aggressively pursued... especially as this post was created by him long before the Rockets problems last season.
I read this article and couldn't help feeling maybe Durant sent signals to Harden that he took to heart and passed along to the organization: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...-kevin-durant-departure-oklahoma-city-thunder Professional athletes say things, though, and as those close to Durant often say, he has a bad habit of telling people what he thinks they wanted to hear.
Agree. No indictment on Cyber at all. Of course the Rockets wanted him and maybe pursued him. I'm pursuing the Mega Millions jackpot but ya know... The Rockets locker room at best seemed toxic the past few seasons even when they made it to the WCF. Plus the recent coaching carousel. What superstar in their right mind would want to walk into that?
Yes please close thread. Cyber can start another one when he gets wind of some Intel. Every time I see this thread pop up I get bitter we didn't even get a sit down; some pursuit.
Going to close this thread because Aruba said so. That, and I'm just trying to help some of you move on ... at least until next year.
