James Harden more than makes up for his defensive shortcomings on offense, Anderson doesn't. Hell James Harden is an NBA all defense caliber palyer compared to Anderson.

both personally and physically, Anderson has had a lot happen in his life. Everyone should familiarize themselves with the man this organization just brought on.
Again, show me the player who signed for cheaper, is better, and wants to come here. Don't get lost in the dark. Anderson is an offensive threat well inside the 3 point line. He's one of the best shooter from the free throw line as well. Your close minded evaluation is missing many factors. You keep bringing up defensive points for an offensive philosophy.
They have better overall PF's on the roster already.....and not just one of them. Ryan Anderson is such a defensive liability you can't have him on the court down the stretch in close games and we just gave him 20 mil a year. Give me Harrell or DMo over him any day.
Ryan Anderson is a top 35 scorer in the NBA while COMING OFF THE BENCH. Asking him to do anything other than what he does best is just stupid. Most people don't understand that a coach's responsibility is to put his players in a position to win.
Top 35 scorer, bottom 8 defender. Again, if you score 20 and give up 30, you've hurt your team. How is that hard for you to understand?
Haren and Anerson. I think we will sign Bogut next to cover the hole in the middle. I think we had no choice either way but to sign him
I can totally see Harrell hitting that corner 3 to win the game on Harden's dish! LOL. You are dreaming to think we need defensive players for an offensive philosophy. I see you're having a hard time coming up with that PF who is a top 35 scorer in the league while coming off the bench who would realistically sign for the Rockets on a friendlier contract than what Anderson signed. So is the rest of the league.
We could always bring back Terry to go with a Terry Harden Brewer Beasley Anderson lineup that could make the most inept team score 200 on us. Might as well go all out right?
Maybe as a shooter, but definitely not on defense or in the post. D-Mo is also 7footer, can't teach length.
I think Ryan can shave -5 points off of his defensive assignments by maintaining composure after scoring, which is the same as not aggravating his opponent.
DMo is NOT better than Ryan Anderson defensively. They are actually quite comparable. Slow footed and weak. Dmos length has NEVER been a defensive factor for him because he is easy to GO AROUND.
LOL no. Do you even watch basketball? Ryan Anderson is one of the worst defenders in the NBA and DMo is a plus defender. That would be like me saying that Corey Brewer and Ryan Anderson shoot about the same from 3. They are quite comparable.
