We overpaid but if we didn't make a move this offseason fans were going to complain either way

There are alternatives to giving Ryan Anderson 4 years at $20 mil. This one move; overpaying Anderson for the next 4 years might be the single most harmful move we've made this offseason because it's gonna hurt our future. I hate this move

not saying we didn't overpay, but raw dollars is not what to judge this by

percent of cap is what matters

No we didn't. We could have traded Dwight for picks and signed anybody.

This is what this r****ded FO does. They play it safe to sell enough tickets to make a profit.

Terrible signing. 20m is more than 20% of the cap. Really getting tired of the Rockets front office moves.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">According to a source, Coach MDA told Motiejunas that he wanted DMo to be his 'main PF'. Consider this when looking at FA rumors. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/Rockets?src=hash">#Rockets</a></p>&mdash; Rockets Insider (@Rockets_Insider) <a href="https://twitter.com/Rockets_Insider/status/748193032982265856">June 29, 2016</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

So are we playing DMo at C, Ryno at SF, Ryno at backup PF, or are these sauces stale?

I'm a fan of the Player Efficiency Rating. Boban Marjanovic had the third highest PER this past season:

    1. Curry
    2. Durant
    3. Marjanovic
    4. Westbrook

League rules say that Marjanovic can't receive more that 5 Million next year and San Antonio can match any offer, but you can backload a deal like Houston did to get Lin from NY. I'd backload a deal for 20 Million a year for 3 or 4 years.

It's a high risk, but what if he is the third best player in the league? Do you let SA get to keep him another year for 2 Million?
