On this Lowe Post pod with Windhorst neither guy knows what the hell Daryl has planned. Windhorst even said execs were trying to get info out of him in regards to what the Rockets were doing. hmmmm

I believe they've got $64m. May be a few million less with minimum holds, but there's also no guarantee they all get the max. They might all take less if they know they will be a package. Mavs could also trade to create more room. It's still a large cash commitment for what I don't see as a team that could contend for a championship.
Parsons is out as well. Thankfully.

Chandler Parsons is eyeing Lakers, Blazers, Grizz and Magic, per league source, and aiming for close to max money. If you look at all the national media pundits free agency predictions, hardly any of them have the rockets signing anybody of significance. Hope we can prove them wrong
That's upsetting, I don't see how we can't beat anything Dallas has to offer for Whiteside, or Conley. Seriously what in the hell is so appealing about a 37 year old Dirk who will be retiring in 2 years. Dirk isn't even a all star caliber player anymore, he is still a very good scorer who is clutch, but he is one of the worst defenders in the league now, his rebounding numbers are down, his points are below 20 with lower effeciency. It's no knock on Dirk, he's a legend and has been an amazing player, but he is old now and isn'tleading a team anywhere.
I think that Morey is just not looking at Whiteside, we know Cuban is forced to take a huge risk like this, we're not. I know a lot of people here is not high on Capela, but the guy looks promising, he already shown that he can play with Harden, and he's very cheap for at least three more years if we consider his cap holds. I think Morey is just trying to take advantage of that, if he can become at least a solid starter we'll have a pretty good advantage for the next few years. Personally i was kinda ok in going after Whiteside as a plan B, but i totally understand why we're not.
I don't get the fascination with Dallas?. They have no one to offer but yet get all these free agents. They don't learn from the previous players who signed there
Dwert is gone. The market may have to slap him back to reality with his $24M salary demands but some team will come around.
I think 24 mill is pretty damn fair. Remember, Noah is getting 18. I dare anybody to argue Howard isn't worth 6 mill for then Noah lol Would love him back on a 3 year 75 mill deal, or or a 4 year 90 mill declining contract.
He may get 24 on a one-year deal, maybe two but nothing beyond that. I could be wrong! We'll see. And just because the Knicks sign declining players to big deals doesn't mean others should follow suit.
