Broussard: Memphis is in the driver's seat but need to give him that 5th year. If not, they open the door for Dallas. Houston, Lakers, New Orleans are also interested but none are on the level of the Mavericks.
HAHAH now this is funny they are intersted in everyonem but no visist are scheduled.. Meanwhile are rival and hated Mavs have the first crack at Conley and Whiteside Pringles will attract free agents (Did anyone buy it)
there on another level with Wes Mathews.. LOL really i know hes a good player. but hes not better than Harden.. Something Fishy about this- Either Harden is very unlikable by players, or players are scared to be consider assest by Morey
It has nothing to do with Harden.... It has to do with restricted free agents getting an extra year from their own teams, so many teams with cap space and the Rockets coming off basically a .500% year. It will be surprising if the Rockets sign any of the large names. If the owner insists on spending the space, the best the Rockets can hope for is selling Parsons and Conley on coming together and playing with Harden.
Or the Rockets aren't going to sign someone big if they can't get Durant. People need to listen to Morey's interview on 790 again. I'm afraid the part people are missing is when Morey says something like "teams that are smart this year and next will be setup great for the summer 3 years from now." LOL
ok i understand the above- so why are they interviewing with other teams, and at the moment there is no schedule for the Rockets.. well according to Watkins and every other media out there.. they might stay with their own team, but the lack of us being able to get a sit down is really depressing right now
Hasnt he been saying wait until next summer, wait until next summer.. He wants us to wait 3 more years now... OK
It's very telling Dallas is always in the mix for players and laugh at them all you want, they had a better year than us.
The way I see it, if you're Conley the Rockets and Mavericks seem like pretty similar teams skillwise. Difference is, on the Mavs you'd be 'the man' - Conley would be the primary ball-handler, and depending on what Parsons does, the primary scorer/play-maker on a playoff team. Rockets are also a playoff team, but any PG would have to deal with the caveat of taking a back-seat to Harden. Not really the end of the world, but I feel it is a factor. And it's not like the Rockets are in much better position than the Grizz or Mavs, so...
he went all in last summer....this year was supposed to be "the" year. too bad we imploded...but he did put us in a place to win.
they need to realize there not getting durant- its not happening.. He is either going back to OKC or going to the Warriors/ Spurs .. they really need to let that goo for now...
I feel like morey is brewing up a big power play move in the next couple of days. The rockets free agency news is almost to quite

Sources say Memphis is a confirmed suitor for Chandler Parsons in addition to its top priority: Keeping Mike Conley</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/status/748534974563790848">June 30, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Kyle Lowry situation all over again. Morey will be fixated on Durant even though there is ZERO indication that he's going to even consider Houston, while teams like Dallas who decide it's top priority to sign Conley will convince him to join them. If Morey doesn't deliver this offseason he should get fired.
